I went to him to find better ways to cope with caring for an elderly mother with dementia. He took such detailed notes that it took away from our time and kept him from truly listening. He kept suggesting resources for my mother, which was not the issue at all. I reminded him several times, but then he suggested I meet with a person who could better evaluate my mother. I called that office, and I still had no clue what help that would have been. I gave up and found someone better suited to my needs.
