Villa Pizza

Came here at five 4:30 or so on a Saturday… We sat right away and had quick service. Portions are very large, food is good but nothing special. The front dining room is a nice ambiance, server was very nice. No free refills on soft drinks :)

Theirs plenty of pizza spots in Stratford but hands down this one is my favorite! The staff is friendly and the food is amazing, it is a must try if you are in the area!

This is the best hole in the wall I’ve been. Not only for their pizza (which is my top 5), but their Italian dishes are soooo good as well. It’s never too busy which is awesome when you want to grab lunch or even dinner. The people are friendly as well!

I come here almost every day! I work next door and I always come in a get a quick slice.(please don’t think I’m unhealthy) it’s always nice and fast and every time I eat a slice I just want another! There is a nice variety of food. Me and my coworkers always order from there. They have delicious salads and sandwiches if your not in the mood for pizza. I recommend this place to all my friends. Some complain that it can be greasy but I mean what do you expect it’s pizza, just take a napkin and dab off the grease. But I do love this place the staff is so friendly and kind to me. And I will be returning. (Probably tomorrow!)

They used to be one of my favs as well as their cousins at Massimo’s in Bridgeport. Over the past year or so, the pizza has not been great. I’d say flavorless, watery sauce and barely cooked dough. Very disappointing. The pie could have been left in the oven another minute or two to make a big difference. Note: this isn’t the first time I’ve had them in recent months. We have pizza Fridays and have had Villa more than just a few times over the last six months. (not by my choice) and the one constant is the flavorless watery sauce. The staff is friendly, the décor is nice and the prices in line with the average pizza place.

Great pizza very friendly staff. We came in they made us food and were very nice. Only when we were about to leave did we realize that they closed 20 mins after we walked in. They never said anything and the food was delicious

Great food but the customer service is horrible. Some of the waiters have attitudes and make you have a horrible dining experience. They need to look into getting better help.

This is a really laid back and nice Italian place. Very authentic and a place I’d like to go to again if I’m ever back in CT.
Décor:
Very comfortable place with good lighting, and Italianesque feel to it. The furniture works quite well with the overall color of the place. Sets the mood well and surprisingly a very nice looking place for a strip mall location. There is a super nice bar right in the front with an assortment of different beverages.
Service:
The staff was friendly and they very energetic. Definitely a place where you go if you want to experience a family feel.
Food:
The food was FANTASTIC! Absolutely loved the pizza and it was all home made. It had that oven baked taste to it. Very fresh and authentic. I ordered the vegetable pizza with olives on one half and mushroom on the other. Just amazing.
Price:
I don’t remember the exact price, but I just remeber I was more than satisfied with the price vsm the quality and quantity of food.
Overall Experience:
Overall, I recommend this place. Excellent service, great good and a very reasonable price. Bön Appétit!

We ate in here; the back seating area is actually very nicely appointed; I was surprised as I wasn’t excepting to find this in a strip mall pizza place. The staff was very friendly and the salads were very fresh and elegantly presented. The pizza was tasty with generous toppings… I only wish the crust was a bit more crunchy/​less soft but this is a personal preference. The bacon pizza was a big hit all around.

My review is only for a bunch of times getting take out from Villa. I have never ate inside the restaurant so I will not be reviewing the service.
Order time — even on a busy day they are usually spot on with the time in which to pick up your order and the time is always on average 30 minutes.
I have gotten a series of different things here:
Cheese pizza and Arriabitta pizza — these are amazing, I love spicy food and this pizza is a must have if you like the spicy.
Meatball sub — delicious, the right amount of meat, cheese and sauce ratio
Steak and Cheese — I was shockingly surprised at how tasty this sandwich was. If you are craving a steak and cheese-​grab it.

Great pizza, haven’t been here since childhood, it has the same Italian atmosphere, nice.

Exceptionally attractive nice interior, cozy and not intimidating for a pizza joint/​restaurant. Clean and well kept.
It’s a restaurant, but it has reasonable prices. The waitstaff is attentive and well mannered. The food is to die for, nice thin crust, delicate sauce.

Prices on Villa’s website do not match in store. Staff will become aggressive if you ask about it. Great food and bad service.

Very good pizza, and this is coming from a guy who grew up in NY and was spoiled with good NY style pizza all the time. Nice family run business. Haven’t tried much other stuff off the menu, moreso because I can’t resist getting pizza once I smell it. You can’t go wrong with their sausage topping, but we usually get pizza wIth meatball and garlic-​its a great combination.

Villa is the best pizza and one of my fav restaurants in my hometown Stratford. I love going back home and stopping by villa with my friends. It’s always so clean and the food is amazing. The last couple of times we were in they, Jen was our waitress and she is always so pleasant and sweet. Can’t wait to be back! Every dish has been up to standard for as long as I can remember.

I’ve been here 3 times this year pizza is yummy. How ever the service can and should improve, the other 2 times I sat down to eat one time I was rushed to eat and leave by the server young female guess she wanted to go home although it was one hour before closing and the second time they gave me the wrong order.
This time I do A quick run in for a slice cashier girl not to friendly in fact a bit snooty. She gives me a cold slice no eye contact and walks from cash register leaving a paper bag on counter for me to nag my own slice. Not the best service other than that is a decent place.

THIS IS A PIZZA REVIEW ONLY: Villa is our go to spot. Pizza Friday’s typically come from here. However, once a month we try something different just as our duty. We like thin (NY Style), No egg in dough, cooked well, fresh ingredients, no sauce, veggies, not too cheesy and not greasy. We have had many favorites in NY, Summit, NJ so we have some decent comps. So, in Fairfield and New Haven counties, they do our style the best. Always tatsy, best when Hot and very consistent. The service is good (but we are regulars so we contribute lots of $). In Stratford, not sure you can go wrong with it

First time for me and my family there, nice environment, the stuff was very friendly, food came up in reasonable timing.
The pizza was delicious, I had a Veal with tomato sauce, cooked very well. My wife had feduzzini carbonara, was awesome. We are are going to visit again for sure.

Great restaurant for some AWESOME pizza!
Especially the Priazzo!!! stuffed with pepperoni, sausage and mushroom.
The Ortolana is also great if you like your pizza meatless: mushroom, green peppers, onions, and broccoli.
Service is great, be ready to wait for a table, cause it can be packed due to the great food they serve.
