How did my husband live here for 8 years and I lived here for 2 years and not come to Stricklands? This place is amazing! I’m pretty sure our addiction to Stricklands will soon require an intervention. I’ll admit I’ve only had chocolate in a waffle cone… but I’ve had it about two dozen times. The lines are rarely long and service is quick. It’s so creamy and delicious. My husband tries other flavors and has always been happy. It is a far better choice than Dairy Queen across the street.

I have been going here with my family for years and have always had wonderful customer service and delicious ice cream. Although they do not offer much when it comes to flavors (only the classics for ice cream cones & maybe 10 flavors for flurries) they do have some really cute ice cream characters (ex: Spiderman & Frozen) for kids.
They also have fair prices and a little pavilion you can sit under & enjoy your treat. The quality of product & the price you pay are well worth a visit to this cute little mom & pop ice cream stand. I just miss the giant brown face/​head they used to have on their old sign.
