Carrabba’s Italian Grill

McDonald’s of Italian food. I never understood why people are so crazy over this restaurant. we ate there on Friday and the food is just as bad as it was the last time we visited this restaurant…

From the moment our server came to our table, she had a terrible attitude. She literally walked away in the middle of asking her questions MULTIPLE times. Even after we requested bread, diners seated after us were served bread by their server long before we were. They were also offered freshly grated cheese with their salads. We were not. The difference in service was strikingly different. The «bruschetta» was terrible. Carrabba’s should be ashamed to call it bruschetta. Toast points cut in half, standing on their cut side around a tiny cast iron pan with raw, unseasoned grape tomatoes, red onion, and shreds of unidentifiable white cheese. It was completely dry, unappetizing, and tasteless. The fried calamari was good but you’ll have to ask for more dipping sauce. The house salad was mediocre at best with almost no dressing. The Linguini Positano has a good tomato sauce but very little chicken. The Chianti Chicken is a small, split chicken breast pounded thin and cut in half with a small amount of arugula with a few toasted hazelnut pieces. The chicken was moist, flavorful and delicious. Unfortunately, it was very small and the only bright spot of this experience. This was my first time dining at Carrabba’s.After the horrible service and disappointing meal, it will most likely be my last.

Went to eat at the bar. Couldn’t find one of my old faves, as I have not been to carabbas in years. I described it to the bartender and the kitchen made me a custom dish. Only $ 17 and it was exactly as I remembered maybe even better. I had never been to this location but the friendliness of the staff and quality of the meal will make me return very soon.

Dinner last night with the family and everything was excellent. Food was great and so was the service. I’ve never had a bad meal at this location and will keep going back.

I ordered a chicken caesar salad for pickup and I received less than half of a salad.

What happened to Carrabbas? I don’t understand used to be a great quick meal to pick up. Last night was terrible, so much pepper on my chicken Marcella it wasn’t edible. The only thing that was salvageable was the potatoes! Very sad.

Delicious, Irvan? Or maybe Irving?! Was our server and I can’t begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our food. Friday night, 930 and it was alittle busy but we were seated right away. He told us the specials and our soup and salad did come out with bread. Wish the bread came first and quicker. We were hungry. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and we ate every bit. We even got dessert to go because we were full. The manager came by and asked about the service and meal and even gave us $ off gift card for Father’s Day. Very nice service and excellent food. We will be back.

I was sooo craving lasagna tonight & instead of going to a place where I knew the lasagna would be delicious… decided on Carrabbas and was very disappointed! Tooo salty not tasty at all. The bread & calamari was the only thing that was good. We also tried the lobster mac & again for the over priced meal was a bust. Small lobster bits, really! Never again.

I placed a to go order online because I was craving pasta and I arrived on time (12:15 p.m.) I have been standing up front making eye contact and smiling at the hostess across the room, servers, busses or people wiping tables and even a manager… not one person has acknowledged me so I decided to kill time while being ignored by writing this review… still haven’t been helped… it’s 12:22 p.m. now.

This place is horrible. I said few months ago I will never be back, but my hubby took me there again and I thought I am gonna walk out. Friendly hosts, but our server said she is just working there and has no idea why don’t have spinach anymore and other side we had last time, common, are you supposed to be a team player? Next issue was my pork, one of the medalions was totally raw… I understand medium well cooked pork tenderloin, but it was raw and my mashed potatoes were room temp (gross. So I complained, they took it back. Manager came over and said: here we cooked it more (being familiar with restaurant business, who knows what they did…) so basically they brought me 6 pieces of my cut up pork tenderloin which was just thrown on a grill again and cooked till its dry. I refused to eat it or take it to go. Sorry, this place is a joke.

Training night, WOW! Excited to have to deal with this. Seemed like every server had a trainee. It made the floor quite crowded. It took a while to get our order taken and then the waitress didn’t know much detail about the menu. (Scary, she was training someone!)
The food came cool at best and was inaccurate with 2 of the 5 meals. My chicken was over cooked, dried out and tasteless and the veggies were greasy.
This was my first time at a Carrabba’s, I won’t be back.
The waitress charged the credit card the wrong amount, too much, she ran it again for the correct amount. The host is still waiting for the adjustment to his account.

I have dined at this restaurant and same location many times and every one of those times, my guests and I have been treated with utmost respect and care. The staff are very professional, well-​mannered, and the sea/​land food are fresh (kudos to the chefs).
I had a surprise birthday dinner a couple nights ago here. We walked in about thirty minutes before the restaurant was going to close and they still let us walk in and still took our order which was kind. My guests had already looked at the online menu so once we were all seated, we already knew what we wanted and my meals were kind of chosen for me but I ended up eating and loving everything from my plate.
I started off with the minestrone soup and gravitated to the mussels (cuzze in bianco) which I had only a couple because of my seafood allergy but they were very fresh and full of flavor. My guests ordered the Spiedino di Mare and Mahi Wulfe. They were very satisfied and impressed with their meals. I ordered the Tuscan sirloin skewers with grilled, carmalized green beans. Then finished the evening with their new Panna Cotta. The texture is soft but not thick enough to be yogurt paste and not liquid enough to be milk. It didn’t have a tarty taste like greek yogurt but it wasn’t flavorless either. It is really hard to describe, you just need to try it because I have fallen in love with it.

The service was very slow but friendly. The food order came out wrong but they quickly corrected it. The portion size was very small for the price paid.

We went here on xmas eve 2014, i figured we would have to wait for our food forever so I prepaired myself. The seating wait was like 5 mins and yes the place was PACKED! Our food was out pretty fast appetizer was out within 10 mins and everything else followed pretty gracefully! BUT the SERVICE… Was out of this world amazing!!! And yes they were all young but they all made a Great team, management deff has it together they trained them great oh and yes of course the food was Delicious! We ordered the calamari, for our entrée the shrimpand scallop in the champagne cream sauce with linguini. I have to admit i thought it was going to be like Olive garden oily and hard pasta but i was soooo wrong total opposite… AND YES I KNOW REAL ITALIAN! my family is old fashion italians and were from NY :)

Met up with relatives (total of 6 including myself) here at 6:00pm Saturday night and had a anticipated 45 min wait. After an hour and 15 mins we finally were seated only to wait another 10 mins before being greeted by our waiter. Apps came out relatively quick but we were then treated to a 45 min wait for the main meal. Food was alright but nothing I couldn’t get anywhere else labeled «Italian». I would suggest passing this place by.

Awful. Uneatable. Something happened to cause this change. Tried it twice. Turns my stomach to even think about going in there. And I used to love it.
First time we spoke to the manager. The second time, I didn’t even bother. It will be a long time, but I will go back eventually to see if it is still bad. I’ll report then.

Lunch was fantastic, the server, Theresa was exceptional! Always love the herb and oil dip with the bread. The side salad come with a creamy parmesan dressing, I’ll have to say I did not like it. It had a real fishy taste, almost like the anchovy paste used for caesar salad dressing. I had my favorite, the pollo Rosa Maria chicken and it was as great as always. I did try the chicken parmesan for the first first time, it was pretty good, felt a little heavy though. Overall Carabbas was an excellent choice once again!

Back to our old hangout as we have our names engraved at the end of the counter years ago when Jeff was the proprietor. The food is always good as I love their angel hair and meatballs. They have a secret three meat combo that I just can’t duplicate so all you meatball lovers try it — you’ll love it ;-)

I love Carabbas! The only thing I noticed is that their portions seem to have shrinked?!
Although the food is incredible & I always enjoy eating here ! Love the minestrone & the penne Alla vodka!
