First Drumstick Dash 5k! This was organized by Hope of the Valley. All the funds went to support this organization to support their shelters for the homeless in the Valley. The competers started at 8am and completers started at 9am. Lots of couples and families here!
Pretty well organized for the first time. They was live music by a band and performers. They had some local vendors handing out samples and goodies.
Loved that there was free parking and the routes were clearly marked. And clean bathrooms are a plus too!
Only downside was that they ran out of small/​medium sized shirts, ran out of food, and vendors closed up shop before 10am.
I’m sure next year will be better! Would do this again!
