This place is yummy, but a bit pricey for what you get. They have a great fried California Roll, and their tempura is great! I got a tempura bowl, and it was good, however they put dried seaweed top, which I did NOT care for! They should list that on the menu! but almost $ 10 for an average size bowl is pricey. Not to mention, their to go bowls/lids don’t close all the way, and the crappy rubber band that they put over it doesn’t help! With what they charge, they need to step up their togo container game!

This is a special place. Super nice people running a small business in a big city. Their udon soup is the go-to for us. It’s the best way to get our non-vegetable eating son to eat healthy. Great prices, but really it’s the personal touches that makes this place worth supporting. It’s a «hole in the wall» with a lot of heart.

First real Unilocal adventure. I was craving sushi and SUSHI was what I got! Good small place, nice employees, good food. Not a fan of the soup but that’s just my preference. Crunch rolls are on point! Delicious! Pretty good price too :)

The reviews were great and the location was right. Plus, I’ve wanted to branch out and try more of the sushi joints in the area, so I decided to give it a try. Parking was a nightmare. Frustrating. Stressful. Drove around for 10 minutes trying to find somewhere to park. Almost gave up and went elsewhere. Probably should have. If you want a fun roll but don’t like(or can’t eat) fake crab or shrimp tempura, you have 2 options. And they will put sauces all over them without warning. If you have food sensitivities or concerns, ask a million questions because not everything in a dish is listed on the menu. Food was ok. Just ok. Though I did have a painfully tough chunk of yellowtail. Seriously, how did it get that sinewy? Kind of offputting. All in all: It wasn’t the worst sushi joint I’ve been to, but I’m in no rush to repeat that experience. Especially with so many really good sushi restaurants around.

Sushi Fusion and Roll is honestly the best sushi restaurant I have ever ate sushi in. The people who own it are very friendly and welcoming and their food is always fresh and tastes fantastic!

I have no idea how this place has a rating above 2 stars. I made the mistake of going there twice. The rice is not seasoned at all… the fish was oxidized. I think the ceramics at Color Me Mine next door had more flavor. I think this place is a sushi trap for people who don’t really like sushi.

We love this place and it’s a favorite of our clients! Our clients look forward to being able to eat from here while we are doing their hair upstairs. We love the Crunch roll, the Super Tiger roll, Rainbow roll and lot’s more. They’re always accommodating, so nice and they have great hours!

Cute little place tucked away in a complex. They have a big menu with variety. We had the Crazy Boy roll, the Dragon roll and a California roll. Including 2 drinks and a miso soup the bill came to about $ 35. Little more pricey then some other places but the food was good! I’ll probably return.

I didn’t realize this was going to be a strip-mall restaurant when we headed out for it, but it turned out to be okay. There’s a tiny 3 space parking lot in the front, 1 for handicapped and 1 for Verizon. The menu is pretty big for such a small place. I ordered the seaweed salad based on a recommendation here and it was very good. It’s actually seaweed salad on top of a cole-slaw like salad on the bottom which is just shredded lettuce and a watery Miracle Whip-like dressing on it. Their iced green tea was very tasty. I ordered a Bento box with chicken teriyaki, spicy pork and a California roll. The meat dishes were just okay. The chicken and teriyaki sauce were both a little anemic. The spicy pork had a tasty sauce on it, but both dishes were luke-warm and a little dry, as if they had been cooked hours before and had been sitting around. You get one ice-cream sized ball of rice, which was overcooked, and more of the lettuce/miracle whip salad. The California roll was okay, but it too was a little anemic. It was very loosely rolled with not much filling and sliced very thinly. For the price it was okay, but it’s not a place I would come on a regular basis.

This place is great! We ordered the sushi lunch special and for $ 12 bucks you get two sushi rolls plus a miso soup! What a great deal! We also got the udon and spicy tuna salad which was delicious with a generous portion of the tuna. Overall very affordable and everything was fresh.

Great place to grab sushi in a pinch! They always seem to be open when neighboring restaurants are closed. The sushi is great and the price reasonable. What I enjoy most is how friendly everyone is. They always have a moment to say hello, that’s truly hard to find in Los Angeles, and something money can’t buy.

This is a guest review from the professional restaurant reviewer in the junior division(between 4th and 5th grade). This is a family owned business with all fresh food. Such a nice, friendly appearance to it, too. Even when you walk in and they have no idea who you are, they will say hi and give you a fresh bowl of steaming hot soup. The cuisine here is phenomenal. Their sashimi sauce is so spicy it made my dad’s tongue twitch. Their tempura is crunchy and creamy at the same time. Their octopus salad is heavenly. If you want high quality Japanese food? Go to fusion.

I run in to Fusion Sushi for lunch some times because its walking distance from my office. On one particular lunch break recently, I had a lot of errands to do. I ran into Fusion Sushi and placed my order. I got one of their Sushi Combo lunches to go. I told the women I was running around the corner to the nail salon and would pick up my lunch when I was done. She was very nice and asked what time would I be coming back. And then she was talking to the chef and arranging to prepare the food for when I was done with my other appointment. So after my nail appointment, I basically ran back into Fusion Sushi, picked up my Sushi Combo lunch and headed back to my office. They serve delicious high quality sushi. It is somewhat pricer than your average«to go» sushi place. You can sit there and eat at the restaurant, but I always bring it back to work. I was very pleased with the quality of the food, and the service.

I really enjoyed the sushi– very different and freshly made. The baked salmon rolls where bizarre but fantastic! Very friendly staff and I loved the lil oriental touches such as orange pieces, miso soup and the tea set! I just wished they delivered to Hollywood.

My friend was looking for some simple sushi for a more affordable price within walking distance in Studio City, so we ended up here. Service: Quick and efficient. Overall: I recommend the rolls, but not the sashimi or nigiri. The prices aren’t exorbitant, so if you’re on a budget and want some good rolls. This is the spot for you.
