My husband made me an appointment here. I was super nervous at first cause I thought it was a mans salon. I wanted a edgy cut. Lisa cut my hair and I love it. I went to a more expensive salon when I first cut my hair and the stylist didn’t do what I asked for. Lisa on the other hand did exactly what I wanted and I love it and her personality. I will definitely recommend her to my peeps! She now has a new returning client.

Awesome service, online booking, and great location. Plus my hair always looks great. It’s tough to find a barber you want to stick with, but Lisa has been my guide on what to do with my difficult head of hair. She takes her craft seriously and knows where to recommend a change while still giving the client what they want. Love it here!

No receptionist, and I wasn’t even acknowledged when I walked in the door. I sat for nearly 30 minutes waiting for a 3PM appointment, including being 10 minutes early because it was my first time, for Lisa to finish her sitting customer. However, when she was done she proceeded to sit her 3:30 who clearly was a friend of hers. Again, no one acknowledged me, and it was clear they don’t take any effort in managing their bookings.
I can’t comment on their hair cutting skill, but after, «Can I go first? I’ll be really fast» from her 3:30 after I had been waiting for 30 minutes was the last straw. Lisa didn’t offer to sit me until I was already out the door. What a waste of time.

Lisa is the best. You can book your appointment online so you never waste any time waiting. I’ve never had a bad haircut or anything less than a great experience here. Lisa is incredibly nice and is very dedicated to making sure she is completely focused on each client during their scheduled time. Can’t say enough great things.

Came here and was told I cannot get a haircut without an appointment. So I guess walk-​ins welcome is just an expression. Thanks for wasting 40 minutes of my life driving to your hair salon.

About a year ago, I stopped dancing around the various «cheap» places and finally found this oasis of talent in the valley. Everyone here is a pleasure to be around, very efficient, definitely talented and incredibly affordable. It’s also not a ridiculous chain, so I can see the lovely faces who’s business I’m supporting!

I just got the best haircut of my life. Made an appointment online (so simple and awesome). The woman who cut my hair was Rochelle Roepke. I showed her a few photos of what I wanted and she absolutely nailed it. She was super cool. THIS is my new place. Love it.
They have really great prices and do both men and women. There is free parking in the back and also street parking out front (metered except Sunday).

I have found my new place to cut my hair. I live in Santa Clarita and it’s well worth the drive to have Lisa cut my hair. Awesome experience.

I’ve gone to Rochelle Roepke for … 5 years? Jeez. Can’t even remember, it’s been so long. If she ever moved back to the mid-​west I may end up following her there because anyone can give you just a trim but with Rochelle, I leave with a new outlook on life every 4 – 6 weeks.

I needed a haircut on the weekend, called on Saturday scheduled with ease for Sunday (even on Mother’s Day she was working), came in for a good clean cut. Really happy and will return.

When we moved to North Hollywood we were looking for a good go-​to hair cuttery that would fulfill our super picky sensibilities, and Lisa at Hair Razing has exceeded all expectations.
I had a pixie cut that I was in the process of growing out, so I needed a barber who understood how to cut it so I could get through the awkward stage as easily as possible. Lisa was excellent. She listened to what I wanted and gave me exactly that. The person after me never showed up for their appointment, and she just let me stay and kept messing with my hair until I was 100% satisfied. We looked at inspo pictures together, she played with different products, and I really felt like she was having a good time and that she wanted me to leave happy. I love the hot towel on the neck and the little back massager that she does at the end. So comfy cozy and nice. And super reasonably priced! I used to go to a super trendy hair salon on Melrose where I was paying $ 70 for haircuts, and I’m happier with Lisa at $ 25 + tip.
I think Lisa changed Vlad’s life and his opinion of barbers. He used to cut his own hair because apparently no one in the world understood how to do it properly. He says, «Super friendly and easy to talk to. Knows her stuff. I’ve lived in four cities, had all different kinds of barbers, and she’s my favorite.» God bless Lisa. We’ll be going back to her for every haircut as long as we can.

I’ve travelled near and far looking for that haircut that’s *just* right. Usually, I find someone at a retail hair place that does a good job. You know the one, it’s spot on about 8 out of 10 times. And sometimes I leave just frustrated. Or the next day I find a lock of long hair over an ear that got overlooked. Well I’m done looking; Hair Razing is now my go-​to place.
Rochelle has given me such good haircuts! Each time I leave I feel like I’ve just gotten the best haircut of my life! On top of that, she’s super friendly (and hilarious) and makes it such a relaxing experience. I like the online appointment option a lot, but really it’s the quality of the cut and the great experience that gets the 5 stars.

I love my hair, and have pangs of anxiety when it comes to trusting another person with cutting it. Dealing with Lisa has been an absolute dream, though. She listened to what I wanted, gave me a perfect razor cut, and then showed me two other ways to wear my hair with the same cut («if you put it this way, you have more of Mad Men thing going»).
Prices are terrific for the quality of service you get. She’s really good company, too. Highly recommended.

I have been going to Rochelle for my hair styling needs for over 6 years, and could not be any happier with the quality of her work. In addition to being the consummate pro, she has always been courteous, efficient, and accommodating. She is a pleasure to be around and her service typically comes with a smile too.
