Have your child’s hair cut by Susan. I’ve been taking my son to her for a couple years. She is super sweet and does a terrific job. The place is nice too, but Susan is the real reason to go!

The parking situation is bad. Street parking is scarce and meter maids on the prowl.(Minus 1 star) I walked in, had an appointment and the women employees just looked at me kinda like who the hell are you… lol weird. Can you say, hello? Welcome? Nope, awkward stares… eventually someone asked.(Minus 1 star) The nicest one was the male barber, VIC, and he ended up cutting my son’s hair. He took his time making my baby feel comfortable BEFORE cutting his hair. My baby loved him. The haircut was also very good. $ 25 haircut. I will be back but only with the same barber.

Excellent experience for my little guy’s first haircut(at 1 year). Brooke cut his hair and she did a great job! The staff here is very accommodating. They offered us cookies to keep my boy occupied as well as a variety of toys. Since it was his first haircut, we were awarded with a keepsake certificate, lock of hair and Polaroid photo. Liam also got to take home his own yellow balloon. The parking is a little difficult but we were able to find something on the street.

Honestly, a great place for a child’s haircut. The setup is fun, and not terribly themey so it gets points for restraint. it’s still clearly a kids’ environment — there are police ‘chairs,’ airplane ‘chairs,’ video games, ample toys, but somehow the adults can meander and be happy. Most importantly, they do great work — specifically Maiza, who is a genius with children and a true haircut artist. She has a masterful way of working with children and getting them to sit still and be happy while delivering a great haircut.. .and a yellow balloon upon completion. Highly recommended.

I really really wanted to like this place, but it was not for us, aside from the fact I paid $ 26.00 for a 1 year old child’s haircut(the same price for a mens’ haircut at Floyd’s) plus tip. I was overwhelmed by the clutter of toys, games and yes kids literally running amuck in the salon. This had not been my son’s 1st haircut and he had always done well in his previous 4 haircuts, this time around my son was crying and fussy and I give the woman(I think her name was Janelle) a 100% effort in cutting my sons hair even though upon closer look it was uneven in a lot of areas on his head, again she did the best she could with a crying, reaching for mommy 1 year old and what bothered me the most is when I went to pay I was almost ignored, the woman at the counter was too busy on her cell phone to give me the paying attention I deserved. Reasons I WONT’ return: The price, the lack of parking & clutter. Reasons I will return: _________________________________!

Such a great experience for my sons first haircut. They had lots of toys to help him warm up to the place. Then he got to sit in an airplane and get his haircut. The stylist did a fantastic job cutting his hair he looks great!
