Good country food at good prices. I like going there for breakfast which is the most reasonably priced in the area and the best. Older interior but clean. Always good customer service.

After years of driving by and wondering what the heck goes on inside this place… we came, we ate, we conquered. It’s very old school. Like taking a step back in time(as mentioned in other reviews). So you pretty much walk in and seat yourself. The dining area isn’t too big so of course the staff sees us. The breakfast menu is a one pager front and back full of the usuals: bacon, eggs, omelettes, biscuits & gravy and *drum roll* herring. We ordered country omelettes. They came with potatoes, a.k.a. tater tots and toast. The omelette was pretty good, I question the one slice of government cheese thrown on top though. Kinda expensive(also mentioned in other reviews) for the quality $ 8.95, but I do dig the blast from the past atmosphere and the gathering of war vets.

Always wanted to try this mysterious place. I’ve seen the lighted sign at 0’dark thirty, too tired to try finding how to navigate the entrance. Today at 1500 and I was trying to bail the traffic jam, FINALLY I discover I’m right at entrance(where apparently other re-routed drivers loop). Place is huge and probably nice to have an informal group meeting. Décor is dated 70’s country and clean, cool by me. Seat yourself, greeted by super sweet waitress. She asked if I wanted hush puppies or rolls, I said no, but quickly changed my mind realizing these are not just a given(i.e. outback or chips at a mexican restaurant). I got rolls. Hmm, warm like the kind you get from a commercial bakery outlet. Plus Land O’Lakes BUTTER. I ordered 18 oz Demonico for 22.00 come with side, picked fries and coleslaw. Steak cooked perfectly! I’m a steak lover and am always on the look out of places to feed my crave. The steak almost no inedible parts, even the fat was good. I was thrilled. Fries-ask to get them CRISPY– great otherwise, just needed some more fry time. Natural, no seasoning, the way I like. Coleslaw– on point, graph paper size, perfect sweet/sour ratio. I’d order to go. A totally overlooked place off the interstate.

Not very good at all. Had open face turkey sandwich– was plain, no flavor and mashed potatoes were from a bag. Had soup that tasted out of a can. Really lousy. Interior is pretty run down too.

Come hungry. They serve a pretty big portion. Great friendly staff, food tasted just like home cooking. Simple little menu with great prices for the great portion.

My husband and I frequently eat here, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I have never had a bad meal here. There are a lot of regulars that eat here, which to me is a good thing, that means the food is good and worth coming back for again and again. The place is not pretentious and it doesn’t serve food that is more artsy than edible like some people are looking for now a days, it is more like a real home town place where people meet and eat. So come on by and become one of the regulars, you won’t be disappointed.

The food is way over priced and AWFUL. I’ve had hospital food that was better. I have been a few times to be fair, and give the place a chance.

I went to dinner with my family here on a Friday night and it was not a great experience. Hoping to find a local hole in the wall, delicious country diner as the other reviews suggest, I was so mislead. When I walked in the servers were sitting down talking, the floor was filthy, there was only one other table in the whole restaurant eating. It felt like I was in an episode of kitchen nightmares! The décor is dated, the menus were dirty and looked as if they had been printed out in the 1980s. The only positive take away was the sever who was a young blonde teenager was super friendly. The food was awful and overpriced. I got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and green beans. You can taste the fact the mash potatoes are instant mash powder just add water formula and the beans are fresh out of the can. The chicken was nothing special just bland and greasy. This surprised me because I was told the owners of the local evans produce company owned this restaurant. You would think they would know the value of fresh food. I would not recommend anyone to eat here.

Strange place. They have been in business for a long time. I was a little concerned with the women’s restroom only having two swinging doors that don’t meet in the middle for each stall. The customers all look like regulars. The food was good for breakfast but overpriced.

Olé Bunny’s it’s been a long while. Growing up as a child in the late 1960’s I remember places like this. Today’s style restaurants on Unilocal were only fiction back then. In those days places like Bunny’s were the norm. In for a sandwich and two I had the fresh chicken salad, with butters and greens. Wash it down with some sweet tea with a slice of chocolate pie, well what can be better. Our waitress was a native lady to lower Virginia and was just wonderful. Bunny’s, where time stood still while the world rushed on. Stressed? Hyped up? Tired of the rush? Go to Bunny’s and sit a spell. Have some pie!

We live close by but this was our first visit. It’s a typical country diner. Nothing fancy about it. But the waitress who took care of us was great. The food was good. My one complaint was that the«potatoes» that came with my breakfast were tater tots. I was expecting home fries. That was a big disappointment for me. But we’ll be back.

We were passing through, traveling with a semi-finicky three year old. She got grilled cheese and we got the pork tenderloin with sides and pulled pork. The grilled cheese and fries were just right. The onion rings and BBQ were very good. The pork was heavier than I had imagined – breaded with gravy and ok. Service was friendly and quick and it was close to the road to get going again. A good experience.

Ate with the WWII survivors. I love that Bunny’s host this crew of military veterans. Had a typical breakfast. Coffee was good and hot. Eggs were cooked to my liking. I tried the sausage and it was very good. The place is a bit dated but like I say all the time, it is really tough to screw up breakfast. Not sure if I would come here for anything else other than breakfast. The staff was extremely friendly. Overall, a good place to get a morning breakfast and read the paper with a cup of coffee.

A quaint little country diner that I’m glad we stumbled up on our road trip. The service was quick and friendly and the food was very good! We were here for breakfast, and were fed well indeed. The cheese omelet I had was perfectly done, and the side of link sausage was what really impressed me! Fresh local Virginia smoked sausage, it was savory and delicious! One of the best sausages I’ve ever had for breakfast. The fresh fruit and grits my lady had were equally excellent!
