This is the go-to restaurant for our family. They have great authentic and tex-mex food options, the drinks are excellent, and the service is on point. Most of the staff does just about average in customer service, but I decided to give 5 stars specifically because of one waitress there. I think her name is Maria, and she’s a young fellow millennial who can take the order of a huge family of ten without writing it down, ANDGETEVERYTHINGRIGHT once the food comes out. Most servers have trouble even getting a written order correct. Pros: clean, good service, great food, fun drinks, fair price. Cons: front door is excruciatingly hard to open and it can get a bit drafty.

There’s something missing… food is decent it really is. Meat is fresh. I loved the steak taco. Simple but it does it. The place looked clean. There were bodies inside but its just kinda lack luster. Our waitress was nice but didnt pay too much attention. Our order weren’t wrong, and she was polite, just didnt feel like she wanted to be there. I’d go again. Strictly for the food.

My husband and I gave Bravo’s another shot. Unfortunately, the musical entertainment for the night screamed profanities at another customer for taking the parking spot he wanted. The whole patio(including a small child) heard him. Completely unacceptable. This needs to be guitar man’s last night to play here. It certainly reflects poorly on the restaurant for tolerating this behavior.

I’ve always a good experience here and the food is really great. However, tonight I walked in about 9:00pm(they close at 10pm). The place was empty except for a small group on the patio. I made eye contact with a waitress who was sitting in a booth on her cell phone. I sat at the bar for about 5 minutes and no one even came out to acknowledge us. I’ve never had such poor service here. I finally walked out and went somewhere else.

Warning, I got extremely sick after eating here. I’ve heard they have failed multiple health examinations but my girlfriend and I still decided to give it a try due to its popularity when driving by. I can assure you all, that will be the last time I step foot in that place. If you want to take the risk help yourself. We now go to the Frontera across the block.

I would give this zero stars if I could. Went on a Friday night, and they were obviously short staffed or something. Waited 20 minutes for margaritas that were terrible. Fajitas were burned, chicken dry and steak overcooked and chewy. Service… terrible. Summary: Horrible food, service, and margaritas. Would not recommend or return. Will drive to Pure in Roswell or Alpharetta for my Mexican fix.

Bravo’s is a great new Mexican restaurant in Sugar Hill! They have only been there for about a year but I have a feeling they will be around for a very long time. The food is incredible and for a VERY reasonable(inexpensive) price. I have never ordered something that I didn’t enjoy. Try the nachos. They are great… They have squash and mushrooms :). They also have a great vegetarian selection if that is something you are looking for. Their house margaritas are awesome and I normally want something a little more than the house. They aren’t weak like most places house but they aren’t overly strong! The prices on alcohol are very reasonable as well! It’s a nice Friday or Saturday night hangout with live music. Sit on the patio or inside and enjoy great drinks and a great hang out environment! My boyfriend and I love our Mexican food date nights and this has become our go to place!

This is my go to place for Mexican food. I’ve been coming here since they opened. Great margaritas, cold beer and excellent service. The bartenders and servers are very attentive; they always remember what I like to drink and eat. From the ceviche to the nacho fajitas to the Bravos Chipotle Burrito(my favorite) you can’t go wrong. Do your self a favor and check it out. Fridays and Saturdays are a blast too with live music!

Although this is your standard Mexican food, it was good. I had the chicken burrito special and my husband had the enchiladas El Paso. He wanted to try different sauces, so they brought him both the Mole and the Ranchero. He loved the Mole sauce. The chicken was very tender and tasty. The servers were good and even though she didn’t know English that well, she was very attentive and gave us good service. I would have given 3.5, but because of the good service and the food was better than 3 stars, I rounded up.

The 3 elements all restuarants must have in order to survive as a restaurant: Service, Good food and atmosphere. This place had 1 out of the 3, decent service. I usually try a restaurant twice before any opinions are made. The 1st time the food was meh, the service was attentive and the atmosphere ok– nothing great. The second time the service was good, the atmosphere was pretty boring(having had a better looksy around) and the food god awful. The chips were obviously a cheap way of saving money, hard as rocks and had very little taste. The second time around with the fajitas pissed me off. The chicken wasn’t cooked and seemed almost raw, a good way to get sick, and the green peppers and onions were almost liquified(most likely because the knucklehead in the back had to cook it twice). There are way too many Mexican restaurants in this area to waste on this place.

I just can’t even imagine what any of these negative reviewers are talkin g about, perhaps they are confused… maybe they were at Fronteras? Bravos has been spot on, every single time. They opened early and service suffered a bit but then they closed down for a few days and did what must have been some very intensive training. My wife and I both agree that this is hands down the best Mexican food in the area. They know us well and are always hooking us up with little extras. Juan the bartender is really over the top with great service and we usually tip near 50% because of it

Having lived and worked a few years in Mexico I’m definitely a connoisseur of Mexican food. That’s not to say that I am a Mexican snob — I generally like and will try most Mexican restaurants. Most of them are either average to above-average and on occasion there are some fairly poor ones. This location is definitely among the poor ones. Why? The prices are high, the health rating is low, the service is inattentive, and the food is just plain generic. The food here lacks the freshness and portion size that most other Mexican restaurants have by default. I’ve reluctantly eaten here a few times since moving to this area, but my most recent experience put the nail in the coffin, so to speak. I had asked for a large plate of cooked onions to go — I would be taking them to a party that evening — and the waiter came out with a tiny Styrofoam container with the onions and said I was to pay $ 15 for them. Needless to say, I was shocked that this small to go container would one, contain so very few cooked onions and two, would cost $ 15. Of course I refused to pay that amount and I left the onions with him, seeking out a better deal somewhere else. And that experience is pretty much par for the course here. My recommendation would be to avoid Bravos and search out a better Mexican restaurant near you using Unilocal

Very hard to say… I have come here very often since moving here in October as they opened around the same time… Servers are friendly and very nice. Food is sub par. Last chance was today on Cinco De Mayo. Very short staffed but that can be over looked by the friendly accommodating staff… the food was the worst I have tried. The food took quite some time to come out and when it did it was cold… all of it. You could tell it has been sitting for quite some time before it hit the table. I literally could place my finger in the beans and it was… COLD. Other visits the food has come out luke warm or steaming hot… the service which is great by the servers can’t make up for the food. This place started out strong I hope they can fix the food and be who you have been! Unfortunately we won’t give it any more tries… Did think this may be a place for Kitchen Nightmares???
