I had a very bad experience with Dr. Halford. This doctor will take advantage of you. After he made a terrible mistake with my ortho procedure that caused me severe discomfort and pain that also damaged my TMJ. He asked me to come in to try to fix the problem. Then to fix HIS mistake, he asked me to pay for the procedure which was a couple thousand dollars.
Dr. Halford only goal is to make money off of you. He is a cold and callous doctor.
His staff started out being nice but my last couple of visits before completely stopping to see Dr. Halford they were disgustingly rude. One of them sneered at me every time she saw me.
This only shows that they are fake and completely unsympathetic towards patients.

Professionalism and honesty is what you’ll get from Dr. Halford. He saved me money by telling me the truth. I wanted braces for the second time but told me it was not needed. I had went to another orthodontist and she wanted to charge me 4 grand to put back on braces.

I took my daughter to get her braces and enjoyed their amazing service and scheduling. I didn’t have to wait for more than 5 minuet es and the staff is very kind. If you are looking for an orthodontic service choose Dr Halford, the best in the business!

Over the past ten years, Dr. Halford and his team treated my three children, the last of whom had his braces taken out this week. The whole experience has been remarkable. From the beginning, you know what to expect and you never feel rushed through the treatment. We were pleased with the results of all three kids. The office environment is professional, friendly, and relaxing. Dr. Halford is funny and puts the kids at ease during treatment.

I went to Dr. Halford to get my braces — this had to be at least 10 years ago. Him and his team are all really nice — my office refers patients here all the time. Most kids/​teens in Sugar Land will either go to him or Dr. Gee, both have been in practice for a long time so they definitely are knowledgeable and have the experience! I’m pretty sure they are still open Monday — Thursday 8 AM — 5 PM. Appointments to get the braces on are usually done in the morning, but re-​ties/​check-​ups can be done anytime during the day. They will give you an excuse slip to show for the school’s attendance office, of course!
This is a nice office and comfortable setting for both kids and adults. There used to be snacks for patients near the waiting room, but I’m not sure if they still offer that. There’s also a fish bowl you can put your appointment slip in at the conclusion of your appointment to win prizes.
I’d recommend Dr. Halford to anyone who needs braces. When I go back to visit, his assistants are all familiar faces from when I was in treatment and I think that in itself says a lot about a dental office!
