Smoothie King

Always polite, and my order is always right. What more can you ask for from a Smoothie King.

I usually come here at night like between 8 close 9 pm usually after workouts. This place is great, esp. for me as a trainer. Needed a nutritional smoothies this is the place. I love it. I usually get the chocolate shredder with multivitamins and antioxidants. Sometimes fat burner. But I love it for meal replacements.

Hate comming to this SMOOTHIE KING in particular. Drive thruogh is just a stupid IDEA. They take for ever here to get out one small smoothie and not worth the wait.

I usually swing by here for lunch. Lines are fairly long, but considering the businesses around; it is no where near as long as it could be.
Great, friendly staff and the smoothies are delicious!

After waiting ten minutes in line by I ordered a coconut surprise as advertised on their website, however it was not listed on their menu so I decided on the Piña colada smoothie, that’s when they said they don’t serve coconut any longer even though it was on their website and their menu. Not a huge deal, but certainly a let down. Won’t be coming back. Starbucks here I come.

Let me start by saying I love smoothie king’s other locations, and I’ve never had a problem with any of them.
When I moved to sugarland I was happy to see a smoothie king so close to home. But every time I’ve gone to this smoothie king put me in a foul mood. This is the worst smoothie king I’ve ever been to. Every time I receive an attitude, a wrong drink, or a bad tasting drink.
One instance I ordered a medium. They gave me a small. I asked for the difference of my money back they said no. Wtfreak. Ok whatever they insisted they would «fix» my drink, so they pulled the dirty blender out of the sink poured my smoothie back in and added water and blended it. I was upset I just left and threw the smoothie away. I was beyond pissed. AVOID THIS SMOOTHIE KING!

Ive been enjoying Smoothie King for years and this location is pretty convenient. I wish they could work on some new flavors though… I’m getting bored of the same ones each time I go in.

As far as smoothies go, Smoothie King rates an A-​OK.
The good points: most smoothies are tasty and the menu offers a wide variety of choices as well as nutritious add-​ins to supplement your diet. This location offers a drive through with friendly and timely service.
The lesser points: the smoothies can sometimes be off on taste as compared to other locations. The blueberry/​banana has a bitterness which lingers in aftertaste. When this happens it makes for a less enjoyable smoothie. I love bananas but I also know they can overpower a smoothie (i.e. give a bitter note) when too much is used in blending. With a little tweaking in the mix, this problem could be solved.
While I don’t mind paying for quality, the prices at Smoothie King are a bit more for what you get in quality and extras and just doesn’t balance out.
While not all smoothies served are on top of the healthful chart, healthy options are to be had. I would be willing to try other flavor/​combo choices here, hopefully without the bitterness.

Over the years, I have had many of the smoothies on the menu, and most are very tasty. However, for the price, you can make your own at home with better quality ingredients. I have a smoothie at least 4 times a week at home so I’m a smoothie girl to say the least. I typically only stop by a smoothie place now if I’m in a hurry and in the area. This one has a drive thru which makes it easy to grab and go. I would suggest adding at least one enhancer to your smoothie while here. I usually go for the fiber at the very least.

I come here about two to three times a week. Usually if I work in the morning I drop by to grab a smoothie to take to work. I am in love with the Green Tea Tango with Banana, the Peanut Power Plus (to indulge), and the Chocolate Slim-​n-​Trim. Those are my regular drinks. The guy who usually works in the mornings is always friendly and polite. There is one employee who never seems happy and is sometimes rude, that’s why I didn’t give ‘SK’ a 5-​star rating. Aside from that one detail. They’re generally fast, friendly, and have delicious drinks.

My drink is Power Punch Plus (my fiancé doesn’t like it). I order this drink at every Smoothie king ive ever been to and each store makes it a little different. This place makes the best Power Punch Plus and my fiancé think they make the best smoothie she has had as well. Customer service is typically quick and not bad.
