This was a one day festival held in First Colony area. There were many vendors both food and apparel set up for business. It was somewhat a warm day and shade was at a premium. It had a New Orleans flavor so I decide to check it out to see. There were crawfish vendors, places that had catfish, gumbo, sandwiches, margaritas and so on. There was a large enough variety to have something for any and everyone’s taste. Even though it was hot, I still had an enjoyable time. One of the vendors that I ate at I ordered a catfish sandwich, after waiting several minutes to receive it i had to find a shady spot to eat it. I also stopped at a Margarita booth and purchased one that came in a mason jar type of glass with a top with a hole in it for the straw. The catfish was crispy on the outside but it fell apart once I bit into it and it was on a bun? and hanging over the side. Who does that? I was hungry so I chalked it up to not asking a few people that exited the booth how was it. That caused them to lose one star. Even so, it still was a great event and I would return if they come back next year.
