We came in a few Saturday’s ago for the first time for lunch after driving by a million times wanting to check out what it was like inside. The building is huge so walking down the stairs to a one level sort of just darker more of a bar than resteraunt was not what I was expecting, but not really a bad thing. Service was slow and steady but our server was friendly. Food was good we ordered the fish and chips, and a Ruben both good. The only thing that was terrible was the tomato and artichoke tartine that I ordered. I could not even eat it. The glaze was more of a sticky sugar bbq sauce that was flavorless and really just terrible. Would love to come back and try the $ 5 pizza Sunday’s.

I enjoyed the food here quite a bit. I got the Jägersnitzel which is a pounded pork cutlet breaded and pan fried and served with a mushroom brown sauce and it was huge and tasty. My daughters got the fish and chips that they loved! Along with the English/German pub food they also had wood fired pizza that I will definitely get in the future, we sat right next to the pizza oven and they were looking really good! The only real issue this place has is an overworked bartender that also works the seating area so the service is long but it’s easily overlooked because she was very pleasant and the food was so fantastic!

Not the best food or drink, but in the summer the view is nice on the outside deck. Our first time there we got the fish and chips which were huge and I hamburger which was actually pretty good. We went there on a Sunday next because we heard about the $ 5 pizza. We ordered pizza but they were all out so we ended up leaving because there was nothing else appealing on the menu. It was a disappointment.

I like what this place can be. The prices were good on Sunday specials and $ 5 pizza?! That’s awesome. I didn’t get to try it though as we were looking for real dinner food and Sundays are limited on menu items. They have inventive mixes of drinks here which make it fun and the space is pretty comfortable. TV’s line this place very well and probably fantastic for sports viewings and gatherings. I would have had a better experience here but as my first time, I did not know how service worked at this place. I think the theme was either Irish or British but had an American bar feel to it overall. So unfortunately, they don’t get points for theme consistency. When it says seat yourself, make sure someone sees you before you do or you will be waiting a while. I did grab my own menu and the service seemed to want to be friendly but I had a weird feeling it was because I was with a certain demographic with me. I had an uncomfortable unwanted feeling there personally and will probably try another time perhaps. but I was not impressed.

We’ve been there twice. The food is good &EVERY server we had was awesome! It’s the owner. One issue we had was the fact that we paid $ 5.00 to play songs in the jukebox & somewhere in the middle he shut it down & turned all the televisions up to accommodate his group of people. We were there an hour before them & he wasted our money. We’re paying customers too! He seems quite pompous & needs a lesson in customer service. We’ll be telling our foodie friends to go someplace else… seriously. We were gravely disappointed… we really wanted to love this place.

The food was great. I got the Spicy Chicken. It was definitely spicy. Ingredients tasted fresh and the bun was delicious. If anything, maybe just a bit less spicy sauce(tasted like Frank’s Red Hot) but I am also sort of a wimp when it comes to really spicy food. My husband got the Rueben which he devoured in less than five minutes so I’m guessing that shows how good it was. Both of our entrees came loaded with really great steak fries on a metal dish! Very cute idea! And how can you not love the view here?! My only complaint is that the exterior needs a little more love. It looks as though they started to paint and clean the place up but just ran out of money. I get it, restaurants cost a lot of money. But when your paying customers are sitting outside enjoying their dinner and notice your down spout is made out of aluminum dryer hosing, it’s a little bit of a mood killer. And the paint really, really could use at least a second coat. The lay out is a little weird too but overall it was a good experience! I want to come back just to try the pretzel and the pizza!

The fish and chips are definitely the best in the area. The fish was a whole filet, and also an inch or more thick. Definitely awesome, super fresh, moist flakey goodness, I couldn’t finish it was so much. Delicious specialty drinks that are not poured lightly . The staff are very attentive you never have to wait long for anything. Then there’s the view, OMG Lots of seating inside, live music, awesome ambiance, you need to try it!

Well I popped in to watch the last Preseason Seahawks game. Decided to try their Burger. Excellent A for a grade! The German Restaurant theme is fun. Lots of beers on tap to include many German Beers so this is cool if you are a beer drinker. The only negative word would be the layout of the restaurant/bar could definitely be improved upon. Seems like everyone is all spread out with no common area. The view and sunset is outstanding and they have outdoor seating too which is cool too. I’ll be back. Great place to hang out and watch a game.

We have been to this restaurant twice in the past month. The first time They service was not great. The last time the service was exceptional. The pizza was exquisite. I had the wild Maui, a natural for beer. The wife had the Meatsa and was very very pleased. Definitely on our repeat list now. I strongly recommend you stop in for Foch and chips or pizza.

Love this place! We went on Saturday Before the dinner rush so it wasn’t crowded. Lots of seating options and tvs everywhere tuned to several different channels. The Fish and chips were amazing, the Reuben looked really good as well! Lots of beer on tap and friendly servers! We rill definitely be back!

Dropped in with good friends on a Sunday… no A/C, great view, spotty service. Extremely limited menu on Sundays… I’ve posted a pic of it… if your here for one of the dishes that are their specialty, it’s likely not available. A good Reuben sandwich with a large pile of fries… the pepperoni pizza was tasty, the sidewinder fries… well they were funny cut fries… the pork shanks with spicy slaw was good, however the spicy slaw, while spicy, had no flavor. Beer was good as was the honey mule thing in a copper cup. Rum n coke was what it was supposed to be and the margarita was a downright disappointment. Look forward to finding my way back to sample something they are known for in hopes to up my rating.

This place is awesome. Great food that surpasses anything in Bonney Lake. The food is good in portion size and will fill you up. Several beers on tap or bottle and great vibe to the place. Whether you want to hang out in the bar or the side dining area, the atmosphere is great. The tables on the back patio overlook an amazing view. My wife and I have been here twice already For date nights and it’s nice not having to drive to Seattle To experience the European pub atmosphere with live music. The food and drinks and entertainment make this place Bonney lakes #1 bar/restaurant. I recommend the Hofbräuhaus beer and Newcastle burger. Delicious!

My wife and I visited this establishment last night(Friday) and had an overall great experience. We sat near the bar and were attended to very promptly by our waitress. She offered us the beer list(I think they have 31 beers on tap) which was a nice touch. More restaurants than you would think don’t have what beers they serve on their menu which leads to that awkward moment where you have to ask the server to recite the beer list off the top of their head. We started of with a couple beers and some appetizers(Poutine and a soft pretzel) that both were very tasty. The service again was prompt, very friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough about how good our waitress was, even when it got really busy our beer glasses never stayed empty long and we were always checked on. Now to the main course, I had the Reuben Royale and my wife had the Shepherd’s pie. Both were very good and I would definitely order any of the food we had again. On a final note, we have lived in Bonney Lake for over eight years and have seen many establishments come and go from that site, but Gordon and Purdy’s is by far the best establishment that’s been there. I’ll be definitely rooting for them to thrive as I also will be a repeat customer.

Also, the chef is a trained pastry chef. You won’t regret asking, and ordering, the rotating desserts! So far they’ve featured Guinness chocolate mousse with homemade shortbread, chocolate tart with hazelnut crust, and crème caramel!

This place is my favorite! I have been here a few times and so far all the food has been awesome. They have a nice variety on the menu. My husband’s favorite is the reuben sandwich. He is very picky about his reubens and said this was the best and not soggy. I loved the artisian meat and cheese platter and the jäger schnitzel was huge and really tasty. You can tell everything is fresh, not just pulled from a freezer. I haven’t tried the brick oven pizzas yet, but everyone says they are great and they are only $ 5 on Sundays. It has always been crowded when I came, but a very fun friendly atmosphere. The first time I came they had live music. The last time I was here was for the Sounders game. It seemed most people were there for the game and stayed the entire game, lots of fun! They have a huge selection of beers on tap and service was good, I had a few different servers checking on us and the cook even came to our table to ask how it was. I also love I can bring my child with me for a meal, they allow kids during the day. The back of the building is all windows with a stunning view of the Sumner valley. Looking forward to the summer sunsets hanging out on the deck.
