Persnickety’s Awesomeness Emporium

I have never bought anything from this store. The selection was varied but simplistic. The prices also seemed a bit high. Overall worth stopping in just to look. Staff is was pleasant and helpful.

I was really excited about the Drab to Fab furniture workshop, but it ended up being kind of a letdown. I wish the techniques were explained at the beginning so you wouldn’t have to stop to go watch — or learn something and decide to change your own plans mid-​class. I felt rushed and like I didn’t get much individual advice, and I wasn’t the only one who felt that way.
But my bigger issue is that we were told by an employee that we could exchange chalk paint bought that day (with a discount for taking the class) for another color as long as it wasn’t opened. We were happy about this because the last thing you want is to get home and realize you made an impulse purchase of a color and actually need another one. After all, chalk and milk paint aren’t cheap. But when we made the trek back out to Sumner for the exchange, we got attitude about it. We were ultimately allowed to, but it was clear that it wasn’t the owner’s preference. It’s unfortunate to be made to feel unwelcome when there is the potential for future sales, but I am just taking my business elsewhere.

I got the best deal on two MCM teak nightstands here. Watch for their sales on Facebook. The owner is super helpful, knowledgable, and honest about products. This is a great addition to Sumner Main St shops!

I am not sure if this shop is persnickety, but it definitely has some great «furniture candy» for your eyes to feast on especially if your eyes are tired of mass produced furniture.
From a recent visit here with a group of friends, this trip my eyes feasted on refurbished furniture styled modern/​shabby. Its a nice addition to the shops nearby because its different than country/​home and antiques of its neighbors.
I would definitely come by for another peek to see the stock on hand.

LOVE this store and it’s ever revolving, utterly-​adorable, inventory! Lots of signs and neat furniture pieces. The owners are about as sweet as they come too! It’s worth taking the drive out to Sumner =)
