My Nail Spa

A few days ago I went to this salon and got a pedicure. It was fair. I thought it would be nice to have a place to get my nails done that is so close to my home instead of several miles away, which is what I do normally with my regular nail place. I couldn’t get in yesterday to my regular place so I thought it would be great to try this one out. I made an appointment for 2pm. I asked the man who answered the phone to give me someone with a lot of experience since my nails are so long and I really wanted this to work out, he told me everyone is very good. (Typical answer from these places) I arrived a bit early, about 2:05 they sat me at a station where I sat for another ½ hour. The gal started on my nails and then just after she had prepped them, she told me someone else had to do my nails because she had an appointment with someone else. I was moved again to another station where I sat for another 15 minutes. Then this guy sits down and keeps saying to me how busy it is, I couldn’t even respond, because I was pretty upset by this time. This guy takes my hand and he is shaking, so I am assuming he is fairly new at this. I was thinking great, I seriously debated getting up and waiting for another technician, but I figured I would give him the benefit of the doubt. (I should have left) I have been getting my nails done for over 25 years, so I am pretty used to all that goes into maintaining them as well as how it should be done. He opened the powder that was a little pinker than I normally get and told him I didn’t think that was what I currently had on, he replied with, «this is what they used last time». I told him I had never been there before. He said it is the same. (Whatever) I noticed him using a lot more liquid when he started with the powder. It was running all over my fingers. I asked him if he had been doing this long, he said yes (Typical) I knew this wasn’t going to be good, I should have walked. After the wet powder job he was attempting to dremel under the nail on two of my nails and he went to far and cut that part of the skin that attaches your skin to the top of your nail, and I was bleeding, I can’t tell you how painful it was. He also didn’t file the part of the tip that is usually left thin, he just left that thick. Then when he was filing again with the dremel he nicked my nail and left a big groove in it. I really just wanted to get out of there. Once I left and got out to my car with bleeding fingers I noticed 2 of my nails were filed very crooked. Needless to say they weren’t when I went in, I will not be going back here. I can’t wait for my nails to heal so I can get them fixed properly. I want to say the guy that did my nails name was Henry. Stay far away from him.

I came here with my 85 year old grandpa for pedicures. They did an amazing job! They were wonderful with him! They treated him with so much care. I was really impressed! My pedicure was wonderful! I got just the classic and they did a spectacular job. I was really impressed.

I am visiting from out of town, and my mom recommended this place. Brian did my manicure– a gel polish french. It is the BEST manicure I’ve ever received. The perfect french!
The other associates were very friendly and funny. The guy I assumed to be the manager or owner came made sure I was satisfied with the work done.

This salon is the best I’ve been too. Very clean… my nail tech, Sherry, did an excellent job… even though I stayed after hours, she did not rush my mani/​pedi.
I would highly recommend any of techs. The all seem to take extra care.

First time here all the way from Boston. Hands down the best pedicure ever! The price is very reasonable and Sherry really took her time and didn’t rush at all!!! We made appointments and didn’t have to wait! Definitely recommend and will make this my first stop when I come to Arizona!!!

Go see Serena for your nails, she does an awesome job! Takes her time and has pride in her work. Best place I have found in a long time. Salon is clean with good music.

Really really like the nail tech but every time i come here i have an appointment and have to wait 30 minutes. What kind of customer service is this? Come on people. Don’t over book or take walk ins when you have appointments. Very frustrating as I don’t have time to waste. Also they just decided to change their prices and charge me more for the same exact service I’ve been getting the past few months since they opened.

This is by far the best nail salon in Sun City West. They made me feel at home. This place is amazing. The staff is extremely nice, the place is very clean. I love this place

Brand spanking NEW nail salon! Got a a gel manicure here. The salon is clean, soothing music plays in the background. The salon is managed by Timothy who runs a tight ship. He keeps a smooth flowing operation. Little bottles of water are offered to customers. They have a gazillion colors of polish to choose from! Located in Sun City West, a senior community. All patrons + walk-​ins welcome. Nice to see more men with their wives in the salon getting pedicures. I’ll be back.
