Avoid this place. When I called about my kneee MRI, I was told that my ‘wrist looks fine.’ Five months have I waited to finally meet my doctor for disability reasons(after four years as a patient, I still haven’t met my doctor.) Five months have I been shoved aside. The staff assures me things will be handled by tomorrow. You can understand my disbelief. If I can’t get through to them tomorrow, I’ll have my attorney try. You know, when my family signed up for this, they were a high-rated facility, according to IEHP. I would have to recommend to all seeking a medical office to look elsewhere. Should they pull through tomorrow, I’ll adjust my rating and review. If again I am swept aside and forgotten? I’ll make sure that not only my attorney knows their neglegence, but every person and website I touch.

Staff was okay. That practitioner Claudia was a nightmare. Told her the mess she prescribed me upset my stomach and she said she didn’t believe me and I should keep taking it. She basically called me a liar. She’s also more concerned about being controlling and right, than she is about providing you the care that you need. Left messages asking for refills and she never bothered answering them. I would have to contact the office manager to get her to either approve or decline a refill(not pain medications either). 2 weeks and multiple calls later my refills were finally ready. I will never see her again! On the other hand dr. Sharma was a sweetheart and listened to me and my concerns. Refill request were answered within hours not weeks. She’s the best. Had I never seen the inapt practitioner, I would have given this place 4 or 5 stars.

I don’t recommend this office whatsoever. The first visit I had was like a first date, the Dr was on her«very best behavior…» Then it went downhill. After my first visit(at which I brought with me all my medical records so she could have copies of) I needed to see her again before our scheduled appointment but Dr. Bishop was out of the office for two weeks(sick) so I asked to be seen by the back up Doctor(apparently there wasn’t one because the other Doctor«refuses to see her patients») and was told to go to Urgent care or E.R. Then one day I called her and asked for her to see me urgently… I ended up having to go to the Emergency Room because she refused to see me last minute and then couldn’t even get me in until two weeks after that E. R visit(until my next scheduled appointment.) That second appointment is when Dr. Bishop showed her true colors. It was the quickest appointment I’ve had with a primary care physician EVER. Ever. Maybe ten minutes combined with the nurse getting my vitals. I had called a week prior asking for a specialist referral and she seemed to not even know about it during the second appointment. She referred me to another specialist for something my old Dr. handled(which was something she said she could handle during our first appointment) and seemed to be skirting the truth regarding it. As if she just didn’t want to be bothered with actually treating me. I asked her about a sample asthma inhaler she gave me, how the manufacturing pharmacy said it was only for patients with COPD and not asthma when she told me hastily how«everything on the internet is a lie.» Then she told me «the girls up front will WRITEYOUYOURSCRIPT» and left. So is she even writing her own scripts??? She refused to get me an asthma specialist referral and didn’t give me any time to ask questions. She gets a fail in my book and I will be letting her go. I don’t trust her one little bit. She cannot be counted on and neither can her office. Don’t choose Dr. Bishop if you want a Dr. that takes their time or has an office where there’s a Dr. to see you if she’s absent. If you rarely see a primary care physician then she’s fine. I should mention that I have chronic illnesses that make it so I need to see my primary care physician at least once every six weeks. I have had MANY Doctors so trust me when I say you don’t want this practice. I asked her and her staff if she was OK with taking me on as a patient… Apparently, she’s just all about those first time visit fees and doesn’t want to actually be a Doctor.
