Architectural FoamStone

Warning!!! Watch out for this company. We had them do a large job in Bel-​Air, putting casing around all our new windows, new sliding glass doors, new French doors, courtyard gate pillars etc. Almost immediately some of the grout started to crack and even fall out and other installed pieces were loose. We had another company do new fireplaces and over-​mantles and they said that small cracks were normal BUT they’d come back at no charge in a few month to do touch up. They did.
Ruben promised me in writing that he’s come back out too. This was, by the way, while he was bidding the fireplaces. When he didn’t get that job he now wants nothing more to do with this job. They didn’t seal above certain areas and water is getting behind the Foamstone and creating stains when it runs out below. Huge areas of grout have now fallen out and I have a $ 10,000 estimate for repairs.
Oh, Ruben is hanging up on my contractor who was trying to BUY at our expense some matching replacement pieces after he sold us the completely wrong ones that DO NOT MATCH.

I have nothing but great things to say about Foamstone. My parents were in the market for a new fireplace. We had checked out Home Depot and Lowes online and weren’t too happy with the selection. We were driving by on Glenoaks when we first noticed Foamstone. I believe they cater more to new communities and houses but Ruben was more than happy to help us and accommodate us. He promised us we would receive the fireplace in a week and we received it in exactly a week. The fireplace is absolutely gorgeous. I will take a picture once it is installed and post it for everyone to see. I highly recommend Ruben and everyone at Foamstone.

The way I found out about this company was by searching on the web. I was doing some construction on my backyard (block wall) to be exact and my wife wanted a nice Cap finish. I when to different Building suppliers to purchase this caps but they were very expensive. Foam Stone was ¹⁄₃ of the price and there products were amazingly strong and good quality. So that is why I do recommend Foam Stone. Did I forget to mention they manufacture there own product, and they also came to my house and measure and gave me a quote at no extra charge.
