This office was really barn-like, and there were those horrible plug-in«air fresheners» all over the place — that crap is toxic when you just have one, they must have had a dozen of those things. My sinuses hurt just THINKING about my one and only appointment with this dental office. 135 bucks for an eval and x-rays. And more for copies, that aren’t usable. Seriously, the dentist I went to for a second opinion couldn’t use them, they were THAT bad. I have profound dental phobia, and this dentist apparently thought it was funny, and who needs to be treated with that kind of disrespect ? Most seriously, this dentist told me I needed 4 crowns when I only needed ONE. Seriously. I was pretty horrified. Always get a second opinion. ALWAYS. I would NOT recommend this dentist to anybody. 5 minutes is not a proper exam. Disrespecting an anxious patient is not how to do business. Unnecessary crowns are just a rip-off. The stress of dealing with such an obvious scam is no piknik either. After a proper exam at another dentist I found I only needed a single crown. The claim that all the seals on my other 4 crowns were somehow compromised, even though they are only 3 years old, was obvious BS, and I knew it. It’s not easy to find a good dentist, most people have no idea what is necessary and what is not, and don’t ask any questions or know what to look for. You should always get a second or third opinion, and you should never base what dentist is the best just on their prices. Crowns at DVD were less than a lot of places, but what good is THAT when they are putting unnecessary ones in and ripping-out crowns that have nothing wrong with them ? Seriously, I think this dentist should have her license yanked. I’ve been to several dentists that I thought were sub-par before, but never felt so strongly that they shouldn’t be practicing at all.
