Sun Valley Produce

Jack Fruits? Custard Apples? Passion fruits? Sun Valley has it. I love this store. It has exotic fruits and the prices for produce is very good, being that a lot of it is local. If you are a fan of juicing, check this place out. Unsure about a fruit? Just ask them for a taste. I have found stuff here that I haven’t seen since I was a child. Of course it is seasonal but stop by once in a while. You won’t regret it.
Sun Valley is not good for regular groceries though, I have found Ralph’s to have better prices for regular things. This place is better for ethnic foods.
The reason I did not give 5 stars is that they don’t have an organic selection and they have a huge selection of apples but they are all waxed. I’m not a fan of eating wax

This is not a fancy grocery store with all the things you would see if see Gelson’s or Pavilions. This is a neighborhood store that has produce at a faction of the cost you would pay for it at big chain stores. Onions are regularly 25c a pound. Almost all the produce is under a dollar a pound.
The checkers are very friendly. The store is not as polished as the bigger store but the manager is always right there and very helpful if you need anything.
In addition to the very inexpensive produce they have lots of foreign food items that are unusual and interesting.
