This is my favorite local salon! Been going to Leanne for my hair for over a decade! The salon is always clean and the staff is always friendly:

Image West is great! it’s a wonderful local salon that offers great service and products. Leanne has been coloring and cutting my hair for years and it’s always a pleasure doing business there. My daughter has also been a customer of Leanne’s as well. Stop in for a visit, you’ll see why this is a great little place in our neighborhood.

First time at image west and I wish I never step foot in that place. I called the day before to make an appointment. I was told a Lauren was going to be working with me. I made an appt to get highlights & feather extensions. She messed my hair up so bad I cried the whole way home. She only charged me for the shampoo I bought and the feathers. Now the feather lady, oh thats another one. She had to leave because she said she hadn’t had a lunch and was going to pass out. She taught Lauren how to put the extension on in 2 mins and stormed out. I couldnt believe this was going on. This place is horrible!!! I had to go to another salon the next day to have them fix my hair and make it look normal again.

I had been looking for a first class Spa and Salon in my neighborhood when I came across a goldmine! Good bye Burke Williams and every place else.
Image West Salon is the best Salon that I have been to from Encino to
Pasadena. When you walk in, the spa isn’t noticeable. The Salon and beauty store is all you’ll see. The salon features full service color, cuts, nail services, hair extensions and even permanent makeup.
Debra, the owner was very friendly and helpful, her hairstylists are highly educated. One of the colorists is an educator in the beauty industry, I found that impressive. Then I met my cosmetologist Elize, whom I thought was only 22 or 23 years of age. After chatting for a while she revealed that she has 20 years of experience, which I found VERY helpful. Her amazing skills were apparent when she consulted with me. She discussed all my ideas beforehand to get a feel for what I had in mind and took those ideas and skillfully turns them into reality. Elize received her basic training from Vidal Sasoon and Rusk for razor cutting. She uses soy based color for her Vegan– Eco clients, of whom I am one and also for pregnant women. She recently updated her skill set in a class that teaches how to create up-do’s with no pins– Very Trendy. She also keeps up with all on-​going education and has been an educator herself. Her secret is the communication between her and her clients.
After I was finished, I wanted to see what the spa looked like and where. To my surprise, it was very private and tucked away from the rest of the services. I find that refreshing since at many spas, you are visible to the rest of the salon when you go from one service to the next. This is not the case here; upon entry you’ll first notice two great big comfy chairs. I could have stopped there but, I went on to the steam room, they have massage rooms, facial rooms, the variety of services and the knowledgeable staff is again is top notch. They also have a Raphaologist, ear candling, dermabrasion, detoxification. Instead of going to the doctor, I’ll see what the Image West staff can do for me. Their alternative methods appeal to my sensibilities and I have always had better luck with the outcome. I found this skill range and commitment combined with sincere friendliness to be the prevalent through out the staff. Overall, I trust them.
