I absolutely love this hair salon! I get my hair blown out regularly here and no one does a better job than Rima. Even though I don’t live in the area, I make the effort to come out to this salon because of the service. I recently got highlights done here as well, and it was the best highlight service I’ve ever had. My hair was well taken care of and the color was amazing. I have gotten so many compliments and have handed out the salon number left and right! Best service, friendly staff, reasonable pricing.

Nice clean establishment. Rema is quiet but a very sweet & funny lady. She does a great job with hair. I have personally not used her because I have be using Barbara for over twenty years who has been at the salon previous to Rema’s ownership. Barbara is fantastic at cutting, coloring, sharing a good story or a joke, listening, giving good advice if wanted. Definitely a place that can provide service for the whole family.

I heard about this shop from friends at the YMCA. I am always a little nervous going into a beauty parlor instead of a barber shop, but these people are so nice. I have my hair cut by Janet and she does a great job and is very friendly. I also like to shop local and this place is a gem! Very clean and bright.

Love this place, the owner Rima is a very nice lady, super fast! This is my third time here, I have no complains! She is very friendly and did exactly what I asked her! Thank you!!!

Rima the owner is super talented ! She was able to get me from jet black hair to bleach blonde ! Loved it

The owner Rhima, blonde Armenian lady, completely butchered my sons hair. She refused to fix it and then refused to refund me after I went back to correct the issue She even told me to never come back to her dirty salon as if I would after this horrible service. There was another hair stylist that eventually corrected the issue the best she could, she should be running the place. Go to image cuts in Glendale, way better service. Go see Carmen.

They get the job done. Be specific on how you want your hair cut.

The owner of this establishment — Rhema — is very surly and a rude woman even going so far as to speaking unkindly to others who rent space in her establishment in front of customers. No customer wants to hear Rhema bad-​mouth people who work out of the salon.
Have noticed as well that when she cuts hair she uses a spray bottle to water down your hair and I have never seen her clean her cutting tools. Have seen ladies with hair coloring running down their face, no care is taken when applying hair dye. The only think good about this salon is the manicurist Kim and a large parking lot.

The «supposive owner» of VENUS HAIR SALON was throwing people out of the very large communal parking area which is shared by multiple other businesses claimed that this event was killing his business… REALLY? An event that starts in the evening and ends at 10pm is ruining his business?
I was already parked, had my two year old in her stroller and was ready to walk when he threw us out and threatened to have us towed.
It is ironic that ALL THE OTHER BUSINESSES are thrilled to have ALL THE PEOPLE in the area… encourages business… encourages local community…
This guy from VENUS should be taking advantage of a great opportunity to solicit business instead of being RUDE AND RUNNING PEOPLE AWAY… SILLY, STUPID MAN!!! You could be giving out fliers to help your business… instead you have ONE MORE BAD Unilocal… THREE ONE STARS out of for Unilocal… Not looking good for you…

I strongly suggest that stylist get updated on their hair cuts and dos every year this lady didn’t even know how to cut my 13 yr old god-daughter’s hair she left her bangs above her eyebrows no tip for u lady!!!

The first & most important thing I specified to Rima (owner & person who cut my hair), was NO LAYERS!!! I have very thin hair, so ALL I wanted was a simple blunt trim. Ten minutes later, my hair was butchered every which way with multiple, uneven layers. My hair grows so slow, it’ill take 3 – 4 yrs to grow back evenly. I also specified to only take off 2 – 2.5 «, as I tie my hair back for work. AS IF!!! It’s so short & uneven, I can’t tie it back anymore.
When she gave me the mirror to show me her work, this is the part when I silently cried & cursed inside. I reluctantly paid her & left upset.
When I got home, my son sympathetically asked, «What the heck happened to your hair!!!» I said, nearly crying, «I don’t know, it’s the COMPLETE OPPOSITE OF WHAT I ASKED FOR, in detail!!!»
Needless to say, I won’t be going back here, EVER! Sure wish I’d gotten Connie, maybe then I’d still have my hair?! :(
