The one thing I had here that I liked was a local beer on tap called Big Rod, which is a delish coconut ale… the food not so much. Crab cakes were mostly filler, the NY strip was super fatty and their special of the night tasted like it had frozen shrimp and it was a one-note dish. Sad to say I will not be returning even though the atmosphere was cool — food comes first!

Love this place. Saturday night they have a great singer Mike who entertains outside and had a great sound. They are still working on the menu but steak sandwich is a winner. They may need a few more mainstream items to appeal to a larger audience but there was numerous good selections… fried chicken, sliders, duck and all below 15 dollars. While they are new and don’t have a wine list asked for Pino Grigio and gots nice bottle for 36 dollars. Super Manager and the staff works very hard to please. I hope they add more music as SIB is void of any place to have a drink and listen to music. The atmosphere is lovely and you feel like you are at a high end restaurant but could come in shorts.

Was disappointed when I saw that Beer 360 was no longer there, but decided to stop by here anyways. Low and behold, they still have the great beer selection that Beer 360 did! We only had dessert, which they only had one of, which was chocolate lava cake. It was great though. The waitress told us they were still in their soft opening and were going to be extending the menu soon.

DOA, but don’t blame me! Blame the cute server in the ponytail and patchwork apron who hissed, «I’m not your waitress!» when we attempted to alert someone that the beer delivered to our table wasn’t ordered by us. We were only thinking of its rightful owner who was surely waiting thirstily for his pint somewhere close by. And this waitress had been loitering by our table since we arrived watching with malevolent bemusement as her coworker appeared to be drowning on dry land. Let me back up. We arrived at about 8:30 on a Saturday night without a reservation. We were seated right away. The dining room was mostly empty. It took a long time for anyone to greet us, and when the server finally arrived we felt terribly sorry for her. We’d already memorized the menu by that point, but she started faltering through an introductory speech. She clearly didn’t want to be there. We had just met her and she seemed to be already apologizing. We ordered a couple of drinks and a poutine appetizer. They arrived quickly. I got the«Slow Poke,» which is a nice tequila pomegranate cocktail. The poutine was a good portion, but the pork on top was dry and stringy. Next we ordered sliders, caramelized carrots, and wine. When the carrots arrived, they were still crunchy, which is kind of ok because, with fresh veggies, it’s best to err on the side of under, but they were also cold. Someone had slathered on butter and then plopped a handful of minced garlic from a jar on top. The butter hadn’t melted-couldn’t be yuckier. I wanted to ask for a sauté pan and can of sterno so I could caramelize it myself at the table. As for the sliders, they were MIA. We wanted to have the carrots with them, but it took so long, that we’d finished our wine and the carrots and were ready to leave. The server came over and couldn’t remember what we had ordered. «The sliders» we prompted. She picked up the menu, pointed to the«Kids Little Burgers» at the bottom and asked, «This?» «No, the sliders» we corrected her, pointing to the«Little Big Kings Wagyu Sliders.» «Same thing,» she responded. Ok, we got schooled. So just as she left to get our bill, our kiddie burgers turned up. Wish we’d missed them. We weren’t asked about temperature, and they arrived medium rare– under for me. Scorched buns, no chipotle truffle mayo that I could detect. As for surroundings, we were seated at a wobbly booth that worked like a glider when the people on the other side moved forward or back. The music was so loud we had a hard time hearing each other. All told, I can’t imagine that this place will survive. It needs an immediate application of defibrillators.

A friend and I came here the week of the restaurants Grand Opening. The menu was sparse and the options we wanted weren’t being served that day which was bothersome so we had even fewer options. The décor was cute. The biggest turnoff about this place was how unprepared and aloof our waitress was! She didn’t have an answer to a single question we asked about the menu items(again, there were so few, she should know at least how how they were prepared!) She had to walk away and ask someone each time we asked her about anything, which wasn’t too many times. The food wasn’t great and the waitress even gave us the wrong information about what we were ordering, despite all the fact checking! I avoided writing a review about the place since it’s new; I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt so I gave them two stars instead of one. But first impressions are lasting and if this place wants to stick around they need to get serious about having better service, more menu options(more veg please!) and better trained staff.

This place has some major kinks to work out. The food was good, different and experimental. The drinks we had were also unique and good. But the service was SLOOOOOW. Our server was sweet but obviously not prepared, I would suggest more training for the staff.
