What a service…
I am very much satisfied with the haircut (new style) I had.
I had appointment at 11:30 but was late by 15mins
Though my stylist took time to start my haircut
I could not complaint I see the end product of my hair
Went there with looking hair and they tried to give me the best haircut I can probably ask for.
My stylist man is Elma (sry if wrong) I guess.
I strongly recommend the saloon.
Finally after 5 yrs in bay area. I got my regular saloon. Hurrayyyyy…

My stylist was really sweet and offered a good service. Loved my hair cut. Since they have started new, they have a bit of scheduling issues. Had to wait 30 mins past my appointment time to actually get service. –1 star for that. Besides that, really nice service and exceptional rates.

I’ve been coming here a few times now, and though I don’t normally write many Unilocal reviews, this place definitely deserves a glowing 5-​star one.
My hair is pretty difficult to cut/​style, and my whole life it’s been a challenge to find a stylist who just gets it. But my stylist here, Ahn, is the only one who always does it perfectly. She puts a lot of work into ensuring my hair looks just right and her attention to detail really shows. On top of that she also has a pleasant demeanor and gives the BEST head massages (try one after your cut — it’s well worth it. I almost fall asleep every time).
The salon itself is very clean and well-​kept, with a relaxing vibe — a sign that the management really cares about their business. The manager herself is also very friendly, and always swings by to provide some conversation and make sure I’m having a good experience.
To top it off, you get a great deal here. $ 35 for an excellent cut, shampoo, and ~10 minute massage/​deep conditioning that melts you into the chair. (I always tip more for the above and beyond service though!)
I can’t say enough good things here, but you get the point. I will definitely be back again and again.

The entire experience was an absolute joy. I will definitely be returning here for my next cut, as well as recommending Aura to all my friends.

My roommate enjoyed most of his experience, the shampoo and the head & neck massage were really relaxing. However, during the haircut the stylist kept accidentally hitting his earlobes with the shaver. The whole process took too long for him though. But he got a great groupon deal for the place.

I’ve been here several times and the stylists consistently deliver spectacular haircuts. Every time I walk out of the salon, my hair looks neat, edgy, and completely natural. With regard to technique, they are professionals who have refined their craft. With regard to aesthetic sensibility, they are artists who know how to make you look your best. Based on their service and attention to detail, they genuinely want you to have an excellent experience. And to top it all off, their website is clean, attractive, and easy to use for booking appointments.

My boyfriend went in for a haircut today and it looks amazing! She immediately knew what kind of cut he needed for his hair type and worked meticulously to make it perfect. Great service, plush chairs, and, most importantly, skilled. He says his hair has never looked better.

The service here was fantastic, and they were very accommodating for my busy schedule.

I never had such a perfect haircut. They styled like how Apple designs their product with so much detail. The best part is they only charged 35 $ for haircut and head massage. I would highly recommend trying them at least once.

Flew into SFO for a meeting and needed a professional and clean hair cut at short notice on a Sunday! Not a hope I was thinking as I start searching on the internet from my hotel. Called the salon in the morning and was provided with an appointment that afternoon. The owner called me back not long afterwards asking if I had some flexibility to arrive 15 minutes later than agreed– I have never had that attention to detail– all too often I turn up to my ‘regular’ salon and I have to wait around, which is a real waste of time, so from the start I knew I was in good hands.
The attention to detail, constant feedback and telling me what she was doing was very settling and in fact educational– I normally wouldn’t expect that level of service.
The cut was exceptional and even the attention to neck lines, eyebrows etc left me thinking that I my regular stylists see me as a quick job, get me in and out and take my money.
I wish I lived in Mth. View as I would come here all the time and experience the facial, head massages etc.

Very good service! The owner Hang was very accommodating and very sweet! My husband felt very pampered. Haircut turned out great. Will be coming back. Her stylist Anh didn’t talk much but she was very sweet too!

I booked an appointment in here for my husband as a surprise for his birthday. I ordered the Premium facial with manicure and Pedicure.
He really liked it and was raving about it. Definitely recommend this place.

I decided to come here after so many horrible haircuts from Great Clips. I am very glad that I did!
I called and made an appointment on Saturday morning as soon as they opened. I got there a few minutes early and they were already open. I was greeted by a very friendly young woman. She asked me if I wanted coffee or water while I waited for her to finish opening the place. This may not seem like a big deal to most, but to someone who is usually greeted by a «hair stylist» who is usually inconvenienced by the fact that you walked in the door, it was a great start.
She asked me several times how I wanted my hair, just to make sure we were both on the same page. Usually when I tell great clips how I like it, they try to convince me that they know better, mostly so they can do it their quick and easy way.
While I was getting my hair cut the owner or manager walked in and greeted me by name (must have been the one to take my phone call that morning). This was a really nice personal touch and would have made all the difference, had the rest of the experience not already been so good.
The cut was followed by a shampoo and style!
Both the stylist and the other woman took a lot of care and detail in the way my hair came out. These people clearly know what they are doing. The service was excellent and the cut was the best I have had in years. The price was great too. If the hair cut special continues to run then I am no doubt going back every time I need a cut. Probably even if the price goes to normal… shhh don’t tell them I said that.

Personal, attentive, friendly service. Fresh, clean & inviting atmosphere. I felt very relaxed. The owner provided a glass of water with fresh fruit… not the typical spa water with all of the purée floating around. Stylist was very detailed.

Awesome place for men. Customer service is a great experience. I recommend Kayla as a hair stylist. She took really could care of me and the atmosphere was relaxed. They currently have a special for haircut and shampoo which I do recommend the shampoo because of the head massage. I will definitely be going back.
