This was by far the WORST panda express I’ve EVER been to. I only have an hour lunch so I ordered my food online to pick it up. Ended up waiting 25 minutes for my chicken after I arrived. This was SO inconvenient and I will NOT be returning. I ordered online so I could just pick it up and go. VERY unprofessional.

These a******* scammed me for A PLATE with double chow mein and honey walnut shrimp when I only asked for A BOWL with chow mein and honey walnut shrimp. They overcharged me thinking I wouldn’t ever look at my receipt but I did. They even gave a lot less than the standard amount of food they put into your bowl or box which already is very cheap and minimal. It’s no wonder they have such low ratings. People should beware of this place and read their receipts to make sure everything’s correct before accepting payment. Even the supposed store manager was being a big cry baby and was tattle telling for me yelling at her. Next time you want to talk smack ask to call back or put the phone far away because people can hear what you say. Very unprofessional. Update #2: the actual regional manager came all the way down to where I lived from SF and reimbursed me for half of what I paid and personally apologized for this locations’ criminal behavior. He promised he would train his store better but despite his good intentions, everyone should still be careful that they may try to scam, cheat, or steal from you. So always check your receipt to make sure you are only paying exactly for what you ordered.

Hair in my food and everything tasted bland. Maybe it was the first batch of the day and they were just warming up but, hair in the food? Really?

I agree with the other review… they have gone downhill in terms of food quality and quantity. They have increased their prices but food is subpar. Will think twice before coming here.

I don’t like giving bad reviews based on service because I always figure service is a very individualized experience, but this panda can just be the worst. Went in at 5:00 on a Tuesday and they were out of almost everything. There was a line to the door and it was going to be a 10 minute wait for almost every dish. I understand that a catering knocked out their supplies, but that’s the restaurant’s responsibility to balance that. It is ridiculous to not have food for your customers because of a large order. If this were a one time problem, I could forgive them, but this place cannot keep up with customer demand and the food suffers for it. I was served raw teriyaki chicken and now I won’t eat that from this location. If you can go elsewhere, I would! If only it’s location weren’t the most convenient for me :(

I got 2 packets of Chilli sauce after I spent 13 dollars. So i asked for a couple more, she gave me one and so I asked for another one and she said I already gave you some. So i walked out. With my food of course. But 13 dollars and I didn’t even take your teriyaki sauce, and I got this treatment. So rude and embarrassing.

First time there… I was hungry for some panda but had to wait in line for at least a half hour before I could walk out with my food. Come on now; it’s fast food?! The employees were working pretty diligently but still… make it work Panda!

Panda is panda. Yes it is a chain and yes this one location is good consistently. the only downfall about this location is that they don’t serve Hot and Sour soup. My go to meal here is the honey walnut shrimp w/orange chicken for the win!!!

Wow, has this chain gone down hill quick. This will be the next Mr. Chows, started out absolutely awesome and now they pretty much suck. The portions have been cut in half since they first opened. I will never eat at a Panda again, it’s just that poor in quality and flavor now. The Honey walnut prawns are half the size they used to be and the Broccoli beef had zero flavor. They also charge a premium price for many of their entrée choices, as much as $ 2.25 per item. I will go to a regular Chinese restaurant from now on, they’re not much more and they make it fresh, not off of a steam table. I will not return to any Panda ever again.

I work in Sunnyvale and we usually go to wok’s on down the street. They have really good items and give you the usual heaping portions of food for $ 6 or $ 7. Today a co-worker asks for Panda instead. I pull into their tiny parking lot and squeeze into a spot. Then I go through each person’s order, not really paying attention to what the employees are doing. I get back to work and start unpacking the boxes. Five boxes were put into one bag. The bottom two are completely crushed and leaking everywhere. Mine is caved in. Then I notice how much it’s caved in. What I mean is there’s tiny scoops of food in these boxes, not the large overflowing scoops we’re all used to. Sorry Panda but for $ 9 a box you need to be more generous with your portions.

Don’t want to cook, dont mind fast food chinese, come to panda. Orange chicken is good. Location always busy so food not just sitting under heat lamps. Not really cheap but edible and you will not leave hungry.

I don’t know why I keep trying to come here. Not because of the food. That’s a known quantity of Americanized, vaguely Chinese fast food that just hits the spot. No It’s the staff and execution. Lines are consistently out the door while the employees work with the urgency of sloths on an Ambien bender. When they do move, it’s with complete disregard for the guest experience. Does it take two people to fill the white rice steamer, while stopping the further taking of orders? Gonna go with no. I was going to give two stars, but my las visit had them be completely out of hot mustard. How the hell does that happen?

***I really want to give this place half a star, but Unilocal is too nice lol.*** So the parking lot is super small and tight. There was also a «homeless» lady standing outside. I honestly don’t think she was homeless. She asked my boyfriend and I twice for money, once going in and once going out. That was superrrrr annoying. Anyway getting to my review. This Panda is like any other on the inside. The lady who«greeted» us didn’t seem or look very happy to be there or to serve us. She didn’t say hi, she said, «Next! What could I get you?» That’s a nice greeting?! So I said to her«half veggies and half chow mein.» I had to ask for more chow mein and she gave me this cold look. I didn’t know she wasn’t taking the rest of my order so I started talking to her saying I wanted the honey sesame chicken and she just went to the next person behind me not even saying like«oh she’ll help you with that». TOTALLY ignoring me! Moving on to the next lady. She wasn’t any better either. When I told her what I wanted she scooped up the chicken then was about to give me a couple more pieces, but then went to put it back. She noticed that I was totally watching her so she had to go back to give me those couple of pieces. She didn’t even give a full scoop of orange chicken either. No smile, no emotion for her either. My portions were small, not like the other Pandas places. The cashier was kinda okay. She double checked that she had our order right, then asked us if we wanted a drink. However she DIDN’T give us a fortune cookie!!! That’s just wrong!!! Maybe, just maybe they ran out of them, but come on! How can you run out of fortune cookies @ a place like this?! Whatever… I will NOT be back to this one. I only went to this one cuz I was on that side of town. Change up the people, smile more, show good vibes, more positive ness, then I might give this place another chance, but seeing how there are a lot of Panda Expresses around now, I probably will NOT be back @ all.

I literally always forget that there’s a Panda Express location right here. It’s fairly busy during dinner, so if you’re really trying to get fast-food Chinese don’t expect to be in and out lickity split. Like most Panda locations, I’m really into a ½ veggie ½ chow main, 2 entrée combo with Kung Pao Chicken & Broccoli Beef. Super predictable but reliably edible. Definitely expect a wait here, and don’t forget the parking on the opposite side of the main entrance.

Wow, you would expect to wait in line for half an hour at your favorite San Francisco brunch spot(or at the Safeway checkout lane during rush hour, for that matter), but at Panda Express? I came in, with 10 people in front of me, and when I left, the line went through the whole store. Needless to say, I got my food after waiting for about 30 mins. Just wow. Maybe I should open up a Panda Express franchise. That place is a gold mine.

Panda Express is actually really good for being a «fast food» Chinese restaurant. My favorite thing to eat there is their honey walnut shrimp, broccoli beef, fried rice, and chow mien. This Panda Express could get really packed. MINIUPDATE: Everything else is the same but lately I’ve been eating their panda bowls and they are perfect! I usually get fried rice with their mouth watering orange chicken! The size is great and full-filling!

If you have 3+ people in your party, the family dinner for $ 30 is a really good value if you don’t mind Chinese food leftovers(I personally love them). Three large entrees(it’s a bigger Chinese take out box for each that you choose & they stuff them to the top) and 2 sides(sides don’t include any of the egg roll-type of finger foods and is for vegetables, steamed/fried rice, and chow mein). The sides are also put in a large take out box for a total of 5 take out boxes. We got the mixed vegetables as our two sides and the veggies aren’t overcooked. I like them a little crisp. If you get the shrimp as an entrée it’s a couple of bucks extra. Love their spicy beef. It kind of tastes like bacon and isn’t too spicy. The sweet sesame chicken is good too. Also got shrimp with walnuts. We have enough for dinner and three separate lunches the next day with the three of us so is well worth it. Lines are long, usually to the door at rush hour and confused people parking, leaving, trying to drive into the crazy, too small lot of theirs. We park over by Walgreens or PetSmart and then walk the very short distance over to avoid the hassle.

I had chow mein with broccoli beef and sweet fire chicken breast. I really liked that the chicken actually was sweet with a little kick to it. The broccoli beef was juicy and so was the broccoli, which by the way was cooked just the way I like it. The chow mein was a little dry, but I out teriyaki sauce on it, so it was fine. All in all an okay meal. It’s Panda Express after all.

Service was slow even with only one person in line and no one in front of the customer ahead of me. I also had to repeat myself several times regarding aspects of my order. This isn’t really a bad location, it’s just not a good location. There are locales that are much quicker, and where the service is friendlier. Unless I need panda asap, I’d rather drive to another location.

Had to get an Orange Chicken fix and was also craving Honey Walnut Shrimp, but didn’t want to risk it at a shady Chinese take-out joint. So I opted for Americanized Chinese food! Ordered half Chow Mein and Brown Rice Fried Rice, for the two sides I got Orange Chicken and Honey Walnut Shrimp. Good portions here and they do not use styrofoam anymore which is great(yay Earth-friendly) however the pricing is not justified with the food. The chow mein and rice was lacking in flavor so the only thing that was good was the Orange Chicken, the Honey Walnut Shrimp was okay but too battered in my opinion. The workers on the line were pretty fast, however our cashier mumbled when he spoke so it was impossible to understand him. The parking lot is a disasters, it’s cramped and small.
