Dogwood Acres Resort

We just spent a nice extended family weekend here. We were able to bring our very laid back rescue dogs so they could vacation as well. Lindy and Weldon are super nice! Rooms were clean and having the gas fireplace added a nice touch. I would recommend staying at this quiet, clean resort. I have stayed here before and will return again. Just rented a Pontoon boat this afternoon the service was A+++ the boat was in great condition absolutely no problems. I checked out prices all over and these were the best prices. Highly recommend and will use them again.

We rented a pontoon boat this afternoon and the service was EXCELLENT. I would highly recommend going through Dogwood Acres for a boat rental.
The rates were very reasonable– we got a 4 hour rental for $ 180 plus gas, and I only called yesterday to reserve it. Must be 25 with a credit card and valid driver’s license to rent. The owner was very thorough in explaining how to use the boat, gave directions around the area, pointers and tips in case we got lost, help with how to maneuver the boat in case of choppy waters or wake from other boats, etc.
The boat was clean and quite easy to use. They also have jet skis and speed boats as well as tubes available for rent, also at very reasonable prices. He made suggestions for places to eat, asked if we had a good time– a very personable guy. I would definitely use this company again. They also have vacation cottages available for rent here.
