Vegetable K’s

I’ve been a couple times and like the big salad the best. There’s basically 3 choices you can get for those eating healthy.
Small Salad — $ 6 plus tax. 4 Tong portions.
Big Salad — $ 8 plus tax. 10 Tong portions
Panini — $ 7
The big salad is the best, with spinach, the 10 tong portions, and a dressing. It’s basically like ordering from Subway, except it’s a big salad. The Panini is great if you want more bread like a pizza with cheese.

Great place for vegetarians and non vegetarians! They offer subs, flatbreads, and salads-​all offered with or without meat. It’s hard to find a good place to eat being that I’m vegetarian and I’m always scared of cross contamination, but here you won’t find that, because the meats are on one side and the vegetables on the other. And the tool that they use to chop the salads are always washed before its used on your food. Give this place a try. I promise you won’t be disappointed!
…Almost forgot to mention… they have great customer service!

Food freshly made, bathrooms clean. I had the margherita flat bread and it was delicious!

I used to frequent this place a lot back when it was called Salad Creations (over a year or so ago?). They make good, fresh salads and the service is always on point. Just two days ago I went to get a salad for lunch here, only to find out they’re closed! Apparently the place is being remodeled and a new restaurant with Japanese flair will be opening up — bummer!

Delicious, healthy options. The make your own salad (small for lunch or large for dinner) is an all-​time favorite. You can get 4 or 5 different lettuce options, a small has 4 toppings a large has 8 (extra for protein/meat)…chopped is an option too. Who doesn’t like a chopped salad? My 1 year old loves the grilled cheese and we go for a quick bite as often as we can. It’s our fast food go to place without the guilt!

My first experience was an awesome one. Second time around was awful. My salad was made all wrong! Customer service was awful!!!
Today ⁴⁄₁ I walked in and 2 employees were sitting at a table. Salad was made wrong. $ 2.00 for a very small soda?

They have a great variety of fresh salad toppings & large salad bowls for a big portion.

I ate there two nights ago and thought it was gross. The chicken in my chicken Caesar salad had a nasty texture to it and the kid behind the counter was picking his nails or something on his hand. I saw a piece of nail or skin fall to the floor. He then handled lemons for my water.
Toss ups is a much better and cleaner salad restaurant.

Eh. Vegetable K’s didn’t really do it for me. Perhaps it was the flies landing on me while I ate that really destroyed my meal, but I don’t think I would return.
However, I have to say the small salad size was pretty decent. Which I ended up getting a custom salad in that size. A few things confused me, like them telling me I could only choose 4 items, yet the menu said 10 tongs or something… maybe the 4 items I chose they gave me 2 tongs size of? lol I also was not a fan of the balsamic dressing that I ordered… and I should have gotten the spicy peanut sauce like my friend did, but I was worried that may have been full of sugar.
Unfortunately unlike my fearless leader I didn’t find the staff that friendly or helpful. I was scared to ask any questions because they were staring at me as though ordering a custom salad should be the easiest thing in the world (it’s not) and since this was my first time I was still trying to get the hang of the place!
Anyways, I think Vegetable K’s is an important dining staple in the area as there really isn’t anything else salad geared near by, but I left wishing I had just gone to the burger place near by and gotten it on a lettuce wrap.

Love this place! We try to keep it mostly healthy and this place is a great tool to do so. I love that the new owner has incorporated fresh juices. I love juicing and when I feel lazy it’s great to know that I can run around the corner and pick one up.
We always get salads. Love the large as you get so many fresh yummy add ins to pick from. And they have a great dressing selection. My daughter did get a panini once amd I will say I wasn’t impressed. I suggest sticking to salad and soup and juice as that is what they do best.
Last thing. The staff is always friendly and helpful. One girl has been there fpr a long time and that reflects on the owner well.

I love salads and finding a good salad place is always a bonus. Based on the reviews I decided to visit during ny lunch hour. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Everything looked fresh and other customers seemed like regulars.
i played it safe for my first trip and I went with the Greek with a side of protein. I loved it, and even though it’s a pricey salad i wouldn’t mind going again because I really enjoyed it. (chocolate chip cookie was good too!!)

This is a great healthy lunch spot in Plantation. I love that their menu has tons of variety from salads, hoagies, pressed sandwiches, and fresh pressed juice. I’ve only tried the salads but every time the ingredients were fresh. I appreciate that they don’t skimp on the toppings for the salad. The small is usually enough to fill me up but they do offer a large for a couple bucks more.
For dessert, you MUST try to chocolate chip cookie. I’m a cookie connoisseur and it is seriously one of the best I’ve had. Make sure you get it on a day the restock so that it’s fresh and soft.

Great salads and friendly service. I get the spring mix and spinich with tomatoes, kalmata olives, carrots, edamame, wontons, goat cheese, chicken and spicy peanut dressing. It is so good. It is a little over priced. I’d like to see about a 15% reduction in price. How about a discount card for frequent buyers? They do have a buy 10 get one free card, but that doesnt help day to day. Lunch with a drink needs to be around $ 8.

Delicious hoagie. Almost like a hidden location. Nice service, local and pretty quick service. Seems like the topics are all fresh, and the break was real good.

I’m a really big fan of salads, this location used to be called salad creations, and recently changed their name and the décor inside the restaurant however, I see the same faces even management.
This location makes really good salads, you can custom make a salad or you can choose from their wide variety different creations. I love there Cobb Salad, they also have a Mandarin salad which is simply amazing very tasteful. They also have a very large selection of salad dressings including low-​fat. I typically go with there low-​fat honey mustard, there onion or the raspberry vinaigrette dressing.
They have only two sizes small or large I usually order a small to be honest there’s not much of a difference between the two, I’ve noticed they use the same ingredients however you just get more grass with a large than you do with the small.
This location also makes very good Panini’s. They have a cheddar and turkey Panini which is very good at that quite a few times. They also have a selection of soups chips and drinks to pair with your salad or Panini.
I work around the corner so I would consider myself a regular here.

I’ve been trying to eat healthy lately. No, really I have! So it’s no wonder I have been in here for lunch or dinner a couple of times in the last week or two.
It’s a «healthy» fast food option. I say «healthy» because of course they have delicious creamy dressings, and even have cookies and cakes… but at least you are awarded the option to eat healthy.
The staff is always extremely nice and helpful. You tell them what you want and without blinking an eye They reach into the refrigerated doors lining the walls, grab your choice of lettuce and tong out portions of veggies and other toppings that include: onion, cucumber, chic peas, cheeses, nuts, cranberries, carrot, olives, peppers, corn and more.
I’ve had the Greek with is delicious! Also created my own. The BIG brigs lettuce of your choice and 10 scoops of whatever you want. I topped it with lite raspberry vinaigrette. Filled me up and tasted good!
They also have soups which you can pair with your salad or like I mentioned… sweets! Those cakes look so good!
I live very close so I will be back. I have a punchcard and the 10^th salad is free!

This place is overpriced, but I was willing to pay the price to eat a salad instead of fast food. It took the person making my salad four attempts to get it right. I was asked if I wanted a small salad or a big one, and I said big. First, she made my salad, asked me what dressing I wanted, then grabbed a different bottle and used the wrong dressing. After I pointed out that I asked for a different dressing than the one she used, she remade the whole salad, dressed it right, and started to put it in my takeout container before I pointed out that she left out an ingredient. Then she puts the salad in a small container, and when I point out that I asked for the big salad, she tosses in some more lettuce and one more paper thin slice of meat (I guess that is the difference between the small salads and the big ones here). I cannot recommend this place. A big thumbs down.

I just happened to be in the area overnight for work. It was almost closing time when I found this place. Instead of a sour «we are trying to close» attitude, I got a friendly welcome! The BBQ chicken flatbread was fantastic! I can’t wait till I’m working in the area again, as I noticed they have huge chopped salads with a variety of lettuce to choose from, a ton of choices for ingredients and rows of dressing options! Good $ value for fresh, delicious, cooked-​to-​order food!

Visited Vegetable K’s in Sunrise at 189 NW 136^th Avenue. Vegetable K’s is great!!! There is a hugh selection from Salads, Wraps, Hoagies, Flat Breads, Panini’s, and a nice selection of desserts and soups including a delicious bread bowl. The place is clean and freshly painted and looks great. The staff was very nice and helpful and the food backed up all the hype they are promoting. great experience.
