Paying for my soup I was told«we dont accept pennies.» How do you not accept pennies? It’s money. They gave me a look and took it. I don’t know if I’ll come here again.

It’s over ninety degrees outside. I’m walking home from 60th street, with nothing in my backpack to drink. «If only I bought a water bottle with me,» I thought. Thankfully, as I was near the point of passing of out, I found this little shop on 7th avenue. This bakery has a nice atmosphere; AC is on full blast as it should be on a hot summer day, there is plenty of seating available, and the staff is really friendly. It was a nice place for me to sit down with a few people and cool down after being in the sun all day. There were a few people in there on their laptops or reading newspaper, making for a quiet atmosphere. I ordered the Coconut Milk Drink w/Aloe Vera. The drink was fairly priced, only $ 2.50, pretty standard for a drink of its size. I’m not sure if it was because I had been in the scorching sun all day, but the drink felt extra refreshing. Just sweet enough to my liking, but not overly sugary to the point it’ll give me diabetes. There is also an assortment of bread, but I didn’t buy any as I already had ate that day. Definitely give it a try and tell me how it is!
