They have a seafood stew that is SUPERB,(on Special Cajun night ask them to hold the Cajun Salt). They have a vast selection of beer and a gigantic bar to drink at. The prices are decent and the menu has creative and delicious choices. Generally we like to eat at the bar with the other adult drinkers. We’ve been here about 15 times and keep coming back.

Food was good. We had the eggplant parm sandwich and chicken Caesar salad. Service was fair and they weren’t busy. Id consider going back and maybe sitting at the bar so that someone could see when you need something.

This was our first experience at the Street side Grille. It was so refreshing to walk into a restaurant in Suttons Bay and not feel like everything was fried food. I I had the fresh Parmesan grouper and our group had a seafood boil for an appetizer that was delicious. The staff was super friendly and the prices very fair. The craft beer selection was excellent and the bartender Scott was very educated on them all. We will be back soon !

A great menu with an awesome draft beer selection! We have checked out all the restaurants in Suttons Bay and continue to return here — never had a bad experience — always great!

My issues with this place started with the shrimp appetizer. They bread and fry the shrimp with the tails still on. So color me shocked when I was eating my shrimp and bit into a huge bite of tail. I thought this was just common sense when frying shrimp. I then ordered a bowl of lobster bisque as my dinner, and the waitress assured me it would be filling. When I got it, it was basically lobster broth. Not bisque. It also had a greasy film on top. I decided to look past both of these red flags and try a bite, and it was the most regretful thing I’ve done in weeks. I send food back maybe once every year or two. And since it was unpalatable, I sent the lobster broth back. I got a Caesar salad instead, and the dressing tasted funky. Not wanting to send back a second thing, I stomached it and ate some of it while drowning my food sorrows in beer. My blackberry IPA was delicious. Would recommend this place for the drinks, but avoid the food at all costs, at least until their kitchen staff takes Cooking 101 and learns how to prepare shrimp, what constitutes«bisque,» and how to make a simple Caesar dressing.

Had food there tonight with our family — two kids, two adults. Compared with other Suttons Bay restaurants — better food and prices. Nice lobster mac, spicy and flavorful blackened grouper, and a hefty delicious burger. Fries tasted like made with onion ring batter — delicious. Large beer and wine selection with some eclectic and upscale options. Glass doors open to street patron on downtown Suttons Bay. Highly recommended.

Very poor service, bartender rude and waited or a hour for a table. It took over 15 minutes to bus our table, which we had to do cuz the waitress said her arms were to short, and order our drinks. Then the waitress told us that there were out of all burgers and pork sandwiches. .really it was 9:15. No manger even came over to apologize for for this terrible experience. Won’t be back!

So anticipations were high as we went to the Streetside Grille tonight for dinner from the other reviews. We started with drinks. I had a Bloody Mary which was good at first, but it was not made strong enough to handle how the drink gets weaker as ice melts. I understand if I’m being too picky on that. We got their soup next. I got the French Onion which was mediocre. First, the cheese was melted in a microwave, not an oven, so it was melted but not browned. It was homemade but lacked a lot of flavor. Not enough Marsala in it or something. The lobster bisque that my wife got was ehh. The lobster in it was good but the base again lacked flavor. I then got the blackened grouper which was kind of mushy, so not very fresh. My wife had the mustard pretzel crusted Walleye which again was eh. She found a bone in it, which yes even the best chefs miss a bone but when it’s in your first bite, it causes you to be cautious the entire rest of the time that your eating. We decided to opt out on dessert and have some brownies that we’re back at the hotel. I doubt given the opportunity, I would go back.

Didn’t have a chance to review the food. My family and I just stopped in for lunch… At least attempting lunch. Upon arrival, we were rudely greeted and then sat down. The business was not busy, with almost every table empty(and now I know why). We got menus and were ready to order. One thing was missing. No one greeted us at our table or even asked us for drink orders. After being there, at our table, for 15 minutes, we decided to eat next place. **note to the management** the thing about food service is that it requires SERVICE.

Really enjoyed this. The atmosphere is great. The service was very friendly and the food was really good. I only had one item, the Seafood Pot, and was quite pleased. I am looking forward to coming back to try other items in this cool menu. There was so much to consider I had a hard time deciding. The only draw backs were the Seafood Pot was actually not a pot but a plate(minimal, right?). The clams were a little gritty but I’m sure that happens. They more than made up for it with flavor, preparation and presentation. I will be back.

My wife and I always like to try a variety. We had the bang bang shrimp, the seafood pot, and the Nantucket flatbread. Loved the seafood pot. The shrimp was delicious, large sized shrimp. Had a good variety of beers. Everything was well priced. We were with a group of six and there were no complaints. Others had the grouper, which looked excellent, salads, and even a burger. I recommend giving this place a try.

Pretty awesome breaded white fish tacos, and they were just the daily lunch special. Soooo good that they should be on the menu full time. Cabbage, cilantro, tomato, scallions and a unique sauce to top off. No other restaurant in Suttons Bay offers fish tacos. Regardless, these were awesome. Ordered 24 for a dozen family members vacationing in the area. Would order again!
