Great inexpensive lunchtime buffet at $ 9.99. Loads of different choices including some for your friends who maybe don’t like raw fish(chicken tender roll anyone?). Just don’t eat too much or you will end up with the veritable food coma at around 2pm. Dinner here is good as well. The selection of different rolls is what I liked best. Beer and wines are reasonably priced and the selection of wines is good for a restaurant of its size and price point. All in all, a good local favorite for when you don’t feel like driving far for sushi.

Just an update to my last review: the $ 9.99 Mon-Fri lunch buffet was still pretty good today — however, the teriyaki beef is no longer to die for(i.e., it didn’t taste as good, and it didn’t melt in my mouth). I asked the manager about it, and she said they changed the meat cut to the hanger steak(from sirloin) b/c she said it’s actually better quality, plus chewier which she prefers(and I assume most customers prefer??). I told her we actually preferred the sirloin — she said she would make a note of that. Thanks, Sushi Rosen — at least I was made to feel like my opinion mattered. As for the sushi, still good but less variety than last time — i.e., they didn’t refresh with different sushi each time I went up like my last visit. Service is very attentive & friendly — they are closely monitoring when you are finished with your plate and quick to remove it. Like that, too. Lunch hours are 11 – 2:30pm.

This is my mom’s favorite restaurant. She goes there for lunch buffet with a group of friends. She always raves about the exceptional quality & taste. So I took her there for her birthday dinner. I ordered Tuna maki, volcano rolls. Wow~! Tuna was fresh. The rolls were tasteful & the presentation was great. The pumpkin cream soup, and the fresh salad with ginger honey sauce –oh, how I loved them. The restaurant opened in Jun. The décor was clean, modern, simple and yet comfortable. The Wait-staff’s service was great! I left the restaurant happy ^ ^ Today, I tried their lunch buffet.($ 10 per person. but only Mon-Fri). EVERYTHING tasted great. The Teriyaki steak was like the cuts from an expensive steak… tender with a hint of teriyaki sauce. The Udon yaki soba. thick, tender soba with not overpowering sauce. … The arrays of rolls & sushi. the quality of fish was fresh and 1st class. Could not believe that those were food served in buffet style.
