I had seen reviews for this restaurant for a while, but we had never managed to visit. Over the past few weeks we have now been twice(both visits on Fridays for dinner). We arrived on the early-side(5:30 to 6 p.m.) and it has not been overly crowded, but perhaps that changes later in the evenings. Parking generally seems sufficient in the front lot for the entire strip-mall. On the 2nd visit we noticed that there is a cigar-bar next door. We could vaguely smell the cigars when we first entered, but not really after that. I did not notice this at all on our first visit. So I don’t know if it varies somewhat based on timing and how smokey the adjoining place gets. Service generally seems good. Our waiter and waitress were both attentive. The food came out quickly. So far we have tried pasta, pizza, and fish. No one was dissatisfied with their meals. They also have a full bar in addition to beer/wine. I tried a martini, which was good. There are a number of pretty good Italian places near us, but I suspect we will add this restaurant to the mix going forward.

Wonderful evening with friends at Toscana. Kevin was our server. What a delight. Unobtrusive and yet perfect in every way. Meatballs and spaghetti and ravioli and lasagna were all enjoyed. Complements to the chef and the staff.

My family celebrated fathers day at Toscana. Yes you can smell cigars which if I owned the place I would be all over the landlord. But after a few minutes it subsides. Sunday night is half price bottles of wine which was a great deal. Two people had the red snapper special and loved it. Bread was brought promptly and refilled. We will definitely be back now that we have discovered this spot. The menu is diverse enough so that no matter how picky the group everyone will find something that they like.

Really nice waitress, but the place reeks of cigar smoke from the neighboring cigar bar. I feel badly for the owner. People want to smell the flavors of garlic, spice, bread, pizza etc. not cigar smoke! The Fettuccini Alfredo sauce was not homemade. It was flour & water from a packet or jar and had zero flavor. The Caesar salad was swimming in tart dressing and they used the hard green pieces of the lettuce. The wine and patio were nice and I appreciated the offer to serve me a different dish which I did not accept. I paid $ 50 and sent 90% of it back. Now, I’m going to Verra Zanno’s to eat homemade(butter & fresh cream & herbs) fettuccine and a fresh salad because I’m starved.

I travel to the area 4 – 5 times a year from my home in northern NJ. I’m very glad I stumbled upon this place. Hard to find good Italian food down here. I have gone to dinner or picked up from here every time since I first discovered it. Bourbon isn’t too bad either !

I have eaten there twice with the same people both times and will not go back. The food wasn’t good at all. They need to eat at Pasta Vino in Alpharretta to try real Italian food. The fettuccine was horrible and I would usually finish it but could only eat half. I am hoping the owner takes note and tries to improve the food.

Stopped by to try something new. Patio is cute with charming lighting. Food was prepared quickly and tasted great my husband especially liked the mussels. Bread was served while we waited for our meal and multiple staff checked in on us to see how everything was going. It was kid friendly and despite being dressed in very casual attire, I didn’t feel out of place. We would definitely come back!

We stopped by this restaurant on a whim because we had to wait about an hour for our pedicure down the street. Initially, I was going to order an appetizer but then noticed that they were featuring a Pumpkin Spice Martini so both myself and my friend Melissa F. took full advantage. They are located off of 141 in Suwanee. A few minutes from the intersection of 141 and McGinnis Ferry Rd. They have a lovely patio in front of the restaurant and an outdoor bocce ball court which was a nice added feature. The staff here is super friendly. When you walk into the restaurant, to your left, is a private dining area that can seat a minimum of 12 people which is completely on the other side of the restaurant from the main dining area. We were greeted promptly the headed straight to the bar. A cool fact about their bar: Super duper collection of bourbon. They have some rare bottles on their shelf and also have«Bourbon nights» on Thursdays for $ 40 where you get to sample different types of bourbon and it includes a tasty buffet of food to compliment your drinks. On Mondays all pizzas are B1G1 Free. Thin crust but their topics are pretty solid. We ordered the«Family Favorite» that came with onions, sausage and green peppers. If you dig thin crust pizza, which tastes like flatbread, then you’ll dig their pizzas. They offer two sizes, 10″ and 16″ which are all part of the Monday promotion. On Wednesdays, they have a wine special which includes 6 flights of wine tastings and also comes with food for $ 22. We’ll definitely return of the pizza special and hopefully, I’ll plan a group dinner for my OTP friends here to check out their full menu. I might just add them into the Gwinnett UYE series before the year ends. ;)

Really nice atmosphere for this neighborhood Italian restaurant. The food was average but not bad. A little pricey for a lunch but not outrageous.

Eat here! This place is incredible. Everything is delicious. The Pasta with Sunday sauce is a great dish with tons tasty meats. Chicken parm is always excellent. I could make a meal out of the Italian egg rolls. House salad dressing is delicious. Everything is fantastic.

We went on Saturday night to hear some friends who were playing music(«me & Harm») and were very impressed with the food and hospitable wait staff… and the music. We asked for an oaky chardonnay and the bartender gave us a taste of Black Stallion. It was very good. Our waiters, Dan and Justin were attentive without being intrusive. Our grilled salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious. The only disappointment was that the hot bread tasted bland, like they forgot the pinch of salt in the dough. However we will be back and look forward to the next visit.

The appitizer sampler was amazing! But the grilled chicken salad was the BEST one I have ever had, seasoned to perfection. The Mexican pizza was ok, but I like thicker crust. Thin crust lovers may enjoy it.

Had to do some shopping at Lowes and looked for a restaurant close by. Husband and I stopped in and new to area. Nice setting for outside eating. Husband was happy with the Bourbon list. We both had the Blue cheese salad with dried cranberries, pecans and it was fabulous. We both had spaghetti with meatballs. Yum. Great bread. Will definitely be back.

I LOVE The Sunday sauce. It’s very rare to find a place that takes such care and attention to regional Italian recipes, especially in the south. Braised pork is great too. It’s also kinda cool that it’s near a cigar bar because the two concepts flow together though I don’t think they’re actually connected.

The 1 star is for the good wine and friendly service. They shouldn’t call this an Italian restaurant– it’s very mediocre. I would not recommend if you are looking for decent italian food. We will not be back.

Great food! Good service! Wonderful variety of weekly specials, including live entertainment. I keep encouraging those who live near this restaurant to frequent it as I want them to be in my neighborhood for years to come. I love Wine Down Wednesdays!

Came here with 3 coworkers for dinner. It was a bit empty on a weekday around 6, but people started trickling in. I wanted to try something new and the Italian sausage spring rolls were really innovative. I also had their special salad with apples, cherries, and walnuts and it was delicious. Food did take a while considering the crowd. My dining companions had the lasagna, short rib, and salad and I heard no complaints!(Also not a lot of enthusiasm, but then again, they aren’t all as big fans of Italian food). They did like the bread however. The décor is cute with the wine bottle chandeliers, if not a bit dark. I’d definitely come back, although there are other Italian places in town I’d hit up first.

Saw on Trip Advisor they had a wine night so thought to try it out. Italian is a theme I usually stay away from on the road as anyone can make pasta and I want to try something new. Stopped in and it was Wine Down Wednesday, as they call it. 6 half pours of wine and AYCE app bar for $ 20. Perfect! I wasn’t too hungry and wanted some wine so it was right up my alley. They had out a strawberry salad, antipasta, Penne and vodka sauce and red pepper chicken. Pretty decent for part of the package. The wines were three whites and three reds. I had to suffer through the Chardonnay but all the others were pretty enjoyable. Took the name of two to buy later.

Under-impressed. Visited here on a Friday evening after imbibing at the cigar place next door. Great live music but very loud, you shouldn’t have to yell over it. Turn the speakers down! Had tea and lasagna. The tea was pretty syrupy and our server disappeared for long stretches so I couldn’t get it replaced. The bf was never able to procure a refill. Lasagna was pretty standard, nothing to write home about. They apparently don’t have salads or bread with their entrees which I did find a little strange since the food was a tad pricey. Had to go get a sweater AND a blanket from the car, it was painfully cold inside. For the money you can easily get better service, nicer ambiance and bread!
