Dr. Fleming saved the vision in my right eye. I would be blind if it were not for him. I was driving to Louisiana when I realized I had an active bleed in my right eye. Panicked, I searched my insurance company’s list of providers and called Dr. Fleming’s group. They gave me a 3:15 appointment and I arrived at their office shortly after 1 pm and when I told them I had an active bleed, I was IMMEDIATELY taken to surgery and met Dr. Fleming who, in addition to being a first class surgeon, is a really nice guy. He lasered my torn retina which stopped the bleed and saved the sight in my right eye and tacked down the retina. I am extremely grateful to have vision in my right eye and I would recommend Dr. Fleming to anyone. I have Blue Cross/​Anthem Missouri HMO and I was astounded at how quickly they realized I had a serious emergency and addressed it and fixed it within 3 hours of my first panicked phone call. They were so very nice and compassionate which was just a bonus since I didn’t care a flip about ANYTHING but saving the vision in my eye, but I highly recommend Dr. Fleming if you need a retina specialist.
