I was hooked right off the bat! The food is delicious and their smoothies are amazing. I always get the chicken pesto panini with the berry smoothie!

Best place to eat in Sylmar, no doubt! Most definitely worth the price. Super clean and welcoming. Motivates me to eat healthier than I would on a regular take out occasion

Ok I’m just in love with place. I was getting my nails done and I sent my son to get a sandwich. He got the BLT wrap and needless to say it was amazing. So after I went over to check the place out and grab a sandwich. It is a hidden Gem. I wish I could try everything in there. Clean friendly healthy and just delicious. This is a great spot

Probably my favorite sandwich/panini/healthy eating spots. I haven’t tried their whole menu but from what I’ve tried, it’s amazing. «The Fix» is my thing. Customer service is top notch too, always smiles. It’s more on the expensive side for the portion size but it is 110% worth it. I recommend this place to everyone that loves food! I’m a regular and I always will be.

I love this place so much! The chicken pesto is my personal favorite! I do recommend ordering over the phone for pick up because everything made fresh and with quality can be a little bit of a wait. If you are looking for a local place with healthy choices, this is definitely the spot!

The juices are GREAT! no comment on the smoothies but the vegetable/fruit juice are very good with just the right amount of natural sugars. **ask for no ice as it waters it down** Juice, make your own: Beet + Carrot + Apple + Orange + Celery + Cucumber = $ 5(24oz) The Paninis are good too. I had the CHICKENMUSHROOMPANINI $ 6.95DELIVERED so it means that the freshness of the press isn’t there. Ate it after 1.5 hours of delivery, and it wasn’t crunchy anymore but the flavor was there and it was very good still. Definitely must eat in house, since being wrapped up in foil for delivery obviously steams it to the point of meh-ness. Good stuff, i was surprised.

Delicious! I ordered a turkey pesto panini, and I added mozzarella. My mom got a Fresca salad with roasted veggies added. The portions were actually really good! Everything delicious. I paid $ 20 for both of our food

We visited the wild life learning center and then I pulled up my trusty Unilocal app to find a good place to eat lunch. This place has almost 450 reviews and 4.5 stars so we headed over. I gotta admit I was a bit skeptical when we pulled into the parking lot. I said to my husband«this is it??». It’s just a tiny little restaurant in the bottom level of a shopping center. The door was propped open so we went inside and went to the counter to order. They gave us a number and then we sat and waited for the food. The menu is mostly salads, sandwiches, smoothies, and some pasta salads. The tables and chairs are old and worn and there is no bathroom in the place. This is unfortunate because we just came from the wild life learning center and our hands were filthy. What kind of restaurant doesn’t have a bathroom? One that doesn’t give a crap about it’s customers! $ 22.89 got us two salad/sammich meals and a small fruit salad for the boy. The paninis were really good… the bread had a nice crunch on it and the salads were very fresh. Their ranch dressing is straight outta Hidden Valley tho and I don’t appreciate that. They are serving good food that is fresh, tasty, and reasonably priced but with bottled dressing and no bathroom I cannot recommend this place. I would suggest if you have to eat here to get take-out and go somewhere else to eat. Between the flies buzzing around and the loud banging every few seconds from the gym above the restaurant it is not a pleasant place to enjoy a meal.

No bathroom, even for paying customers. Employee was rude, but oddly, was smiling. Didn’t even bother to order. When you show up needing to use the bathroom, and one isn’t available, it makes you less inclined to spend any appreciable amount of time in that establishment.

I’ve been going to Sylmar’s Fix for a couple of years. It is located on the back side of the Vons shopping center on Foothill, on the opposite side from Vons, where a majority of the shops are deserted. Just when you think you’ve missed it, or want to leave because things seem a little dicey, you find it. Essentially, it is a small place with a really large parking lot. It is definitely a no frills location, but is a solid place to grab a good bite to eat. You order and pay at the counter, then pick up your food when it is ready. The customer service is neither good nor bad, just functional. The food is fantastic. I have never had anything less than a great panini or wrap, and the ingredients are plentiful and fresh. The presentation is as nice as you can get in a basket. The prices are reasonable. This is a popular place, particularly during lunch hours. Unfortunately, the folks who operate the place have not evolved with the increased demand of business. What used to be a 5 or 10 minute wait for your order is now a 20 or 25 minute wait. It’s just not acceptable during lunch, so I totally avoid going there during lunch anymore. Sadly, adding one or two panini makers, or a worker or two, would solve the wait issue. Perhaps it is family owned, and they don’t want to hire anyone else. Perhaps they just need a bigger space. Perhaps they just don’t care. Whatever the reason, what I used to consider a 5 star-rated place has fallen to only 3 stars.

Edit: I loved coming here but honestly don’t think I’ll be back. Apparently it is «policy» that they don’t do ANY substitutions.(Even if I was able to the last time I came not that long ago.) So I have to pay more to get veggies even though I’m asking them to hold the chicken. I don’t know, but that seems like sooort of a rip off. I don’t think I would have even been so bothered, had the employee been a little less annoyed sounding. FYI. If you have that sort of policy, it would probably be a good idea to have that posted somewhere.

Let’s get the important stuff out of the way: The Food is delicious. Based on food quality, especially for its price, 5⁄5 stars, hands down. But now you’re wondering, «Why did you one give it 3?» Simply because the people who work at this restaurant are not nice people. To me and my girlfriend, and even to a friend of mine who came on a separate occasion, the men behind the counter were not nice, and were unhelpful. They seemed bothered that we even asked them a question. Enjoy the food, just don’t expect a smile with it.

I’ve eaten here twice and once by delivery. These dudes serve up a solid panini. My favorite is the turkey with cranberry and Brie, it is addicting and satisfies the sweet/savory tooth all in one. Price is acceptable at $ 7 and I REALLY appreciated when I ordered delivery and they came through even though I was outside the delivery area(minimum was $ 25 for delivery). The cashier was really friendly on the phone and the time I was in store, the place was clean, food was prompt and I noticed it was definitely a place for regulars. If I lived in he neighborhood I would stop by for a quick lunch or for pick up more often. However, dining in doesn’t really seem appealing as the place lacks ambiance. This place is to sandwiches what a store front is to taco trucks. Their dessert options are somewhat lacking, I tried the Nutella croissant and was really unimpressed. The croissant tasted like it was out of a plastic bag. They need to source them elsewhere. This is a 3-star place(really okay!) but the service is friendly and bumps it up to 4. Plus, they legitimately have a sandwich I crave. There’s slim pickings in pacoima/San Fernando/sylmar area when you want something quick and inexpensive that isn’t fast food or tacos and this place really serves that purpose. I’m a fan and Will be back for my favorite panini when the craving strikes again.

A simple, but impressive menu with fresh ingredients. This is my go-to escape from Olive View Cafeteria, which although delicious, makes me feel like death itself if I eat the oily delicious food three times per day. If you like sandwiches/panini’s, I highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly and will answer your questions. I recommend the turkey pesto or the Works Panini. If you’re ultra-hungry though and want to order two(guilty, sorry wedding diet :/) don’t order both of those(like I did), they don’t go well together. Separate but equal. Wash em down with an Arizona iced tea. You know you want to. They have ample parking. It is hard to find using the maps app on your phone. You have to go into the back of the shopping center. Took them about 10 minutes to make the food the time I went there in person.

I can’t write too much about this place because I didn’t stay long and enjoy my meal properly. I had a tired child who was hungry and tired so I ordered my food and ate quickly but I definitely will say I highly recommend this spot. I ordered the chicken cilantro panini it was good but my highlight was the nutella croissant, oh my gosh that bad boy just melted in my mouth and was sooo yummy!!! The service here was very good, the restaurant was very clean, and the guy helping me was reallly nice. The wait time for the food can be a little long so if you plan on coming order ahead or don’t mind waiting. They also have juices that look really good too. Oh and this place does not have a bathroom so if your looking for a bathroom you won’t find it here. Definitely will be back!!!

Before visiting the Nethercutt Collection 2.5 miles away, I searched for a nearby place to grab some lunch after the tour and this place looked like it fit the bill nicely! LOCATION: There’s a row of mostly empty shop spaces behind the VONS at Sylmar Square Plaza and Sylmar’s Fix is in one of those shops. There is large parking lot with plenty of space available. SERVICE: You order and pay at the counter, then pick up at the counter when they call your name/number. Otherwise, the girl at the register was friendly and helpful. It seemed to take longer than expected to get our food, but then this is NOT fast food, everything is made to order! FOOD: I chose the Chicken Ceasar Wrap(chicken, romaine, parm and sauce) for pops and I went for the«Italian Style» Panini(eggplant sauce, roasted red peppers, tomato, provolone) with turkey for myself($ 6.95 ea). My Panini was very fresh and tasty, though I couldn’t taste the eggplant sauce and I was surprised to see the turkey was tiny little shreds rather than slices. I also thought there would be more turkey. The Chicken Cesar wrap proved to be too much for my dad, so he gave me half of it. This wrap was very good too, actually a little better than my Panini! OVERALL: Great little sandwich shop in a kinda strange location, with very good wraps & sandwiches(salads too) at very reasonable prices!
