This place is THEBEST. A must eat if you live in Cullowhee/Sylva. The very best thing is the chicken casserole wrap, I could eat that every day for the rest of my life. They also have a wonderful selection of teas and local beers. Their cobb salad is also pretty delicious and their dressing are all homemade(or taste homemade) and perfectly compliment the salad. This is a great place to chill out, do homework, grab a beer or just visit with friends. The only caveat is that the service can vary. Everyone there is always incredibly friendly and wonderful, but sometimes it can take a little bit longer than expected to get your food. Though often the food was very prompt, it can just vary. All that goes to say, is don’t go there if you are looking to get in and out in 20 minutes(though you might!). The employees are always wonderful, polite and helpful. Overall the vibe is chill and delightful and it was like a second home while I was going to school.

This was one of my favorite places to eat when I lived in Cullowhee. I would get the cheesy ranch black bean or chili cheese black bean burger and was never, ever disappointed. They were both always delicious. I definitely miss this place.

I used to come here to study while I was in EMT school and our group loved it! The service was great, the food was healthy AND delicious. The space is small and cozy, just like home. I tell everyone I know to stop in if they are in the area. I hope it never changes.

I absolutely love this place! The BBQ Chicken wrap is to die for and the craft beer selections, and the not so crafty ones, are always good. I also love the live music from the local bands they hire to play. I highly recommend this place!

Soul Infusion has a positive reputation that preceded my visit there on the way back from a hectic morning of conference facilitating at WCU, en route back to Asheville for a hectic afternoon. I was ready to fall to pieces, and the waitress could sense it; she kindly walked me through choice anxiety over the menu and treated me like a caregiver as much as a server. Before I knew it, I had the world’s most satisfying hummus wrap and a mug of some tomato soup that brought me back to better moments of childhood, along with iced tea infused with some sort of sweet nectar of the gods. The interior is at once homey and bohemian, eclectic without much trace of pretension. And who could resist the front porch and picnic area? Comforting on so many levels, cozy, and authentic. Wish there was a teleport from Asheville to their door!

We’d had a long, beautiful spring visit to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, but we were tired and it was almost 9pm. We looked around for places to eat near the park exit in Cherokee, but couldn’t bear to visit the casino and didn’t see any other restaurants with decent ratings. We almost went to Burger King just because we knew what to expect, even if we wouldn’t much enjoy it. But then I said, «Wait, let’s check Sylva first.» We’re SO glad we did. Unilocal reviews for Soul Infusion looked great, and it was still open for a while yet. Everything on the menu looked so good, it was hard to choose. I got the buffalo chicken wrap, ti Guanyin(iron goddess of mercy) oolong, and a Nantahala pale ale. My companion ordered chicken salad with naan chips and Earl Grey. We loved every bit of it. Both food and drink were delicious and refreshing. The service was excellent: friendly, attentive, informative. On that particular night a portion of the proceeds were going to charity, and I noticed that Soul Infusion was supporting other good causes as well(another planned charity evening, supporting a local brewery, etc.). We will definitely be returning to Soul Infusion– the menu is full of items we can’t wait to try!

I don’t even know where to start. The girls are sweethearts, the food is fresh and amazing, the menu is delightfully varied, and the tea selection is out of this world. They also have a fantastic array of beers on hand, and the the décor is extremely aesthetically pleasing. For two lunches and two cups of tea, we paid $ 24. DEFINITELY worth the ride from Waynesville. I’m looking forward to our next visit!

Just a wonderful spot for fresh food, good music and relaxed atmosphere. I had the Big Brian Italian sub. Brilliant. The slaw is homemade and great. Please give this place a try if you’re in Sylva. It’s a keeper.

Ordered $ 7 lunch special: ½ sandwich ½ side — turkey muffalata and chips and salsa. Also ordered tea special of the day: passion fruit with flowers — tasty. They have a gazillion beers on tap. Couldn’t order any — working. Sandwich and chips were awesome. The salsa was homemade and very tasty. Great little place if you’re in town. You should give it a try… glad we saw it on Unilocal

I’m really happy we went back again for dinner last night! The food was delish(see my check-in), service stellar, and since they changed the patio to non-smoking, we can eat outside and also don’t have to walk through a nasty smoke cloud to enter the café! Yay! Thank you for everything

I’ve been to the Tea House probably 200 times and I’ve never ordered any tea there so if you’re expecting a tea review, please look elsewhere. Now that we’ve got that out of the way, I can talk about stuff I actually know something about: food and beer. The food here is good – relatively cheap, filling, and interesting. The wraps are the things to order here, but the pizzas are also good if you don’t have a huge appetite. The beer is excellent – a nice selection of regional beers and interesting stuff from around the world. The bartenders are also quite knowledgeable about beer and wine so ask them if you need a tip. The best thing about the Tea House, however, is the people. The owners are about the nicest people you ever want to meet and they will do everything they can to make you feel at home. Hell – I hit my head on a shelf one time and the next time I came in, they had moved the shelf – now that’s service. Every bartender and person working at the Tea House is nice, helpful and fun to talk to. Even the regulars are nice(present company excluded). Just head down 107 and take a right between the tire store and the UPS shipping headquarters – just where you’d expect to find your neighborhood bar and grill.

This is a great place. A tea house, restaurant, great beer and wine. An old house on the side of the road. You can eat and drink in the yard or on the porch too. Nice selection of local beers. Try the goey local smoked trout quesadilla. Lots of veggie fare here too. Black been burgers are good. Oh yeah… The have a huge selection of teas. A funky cool place.
