Byrne Dairy, how I miss thee. Your fresh milk in your thick glass bottles is the only milk I’ve ever enjoyed drinking. Ever. In my life. Don’t even get me started on the chocolate milk that’s also available in glass.
In the city of San Diego, CA (where I’m from and currently live), the ability to stop by your local convenience store to pick up a fresh half gallon of milk in a returnable glass bottle is nonexistent.
Hard to believe, right? The seventh largest city in the US can’t sustain a local dairy market? Check out our sad state of affairs for yourself, but I’m warning you, it’s not pretty…
