The only good thing about this place was that they took in walk in appointments, and that they were open on sunday. I got a spa pedicure but it wasn’t done very well, or as well as I have had my toes painted in the past. It was a very quick and shoddy job. As for the«spa» part, he didn’t trim off my extra skin on my feet and had a bad scrubber(WHICHSTILLLEFTMEHAVINGCALLOUSES). They also don’t have a UV drying system, so as I walked outside, being the clumsy person I am sometimes, I brushed my toe against something in the car and my toe polish was instantly damaged and smudged(this wouldn’t normally happen at a good place.) After we were waiting for our toes to air dry a bit, the owner instantly GRABBED A CHAIR, PUTUPHISFEETANDSTARTEDWATCHINGFOOTBALLANDYELLINGATTHESCREEN. HIGHLYUNPROFESSIONAL! Please find a better place! I will be trying places on Pearl street and around Tacoma.

Love this place! Family run(wife and husband) sometimes they bring their CUTE and friendly little girls(Trisha and Athena) in after school. The owners speak english well, very social, and seem to be appreciative of your business. Decent prices!

Since moving to parkland area I have had some trouble finding a good pedicure spot… they are almost all closed on Sunday for what reason I am really not sure or they just aren’t anything to really rave about… Then there is Athena’s…went there today, small shop with 3 chairs so nothing big and extravagant but first off the massage chairs actually massage your… well…gluteous maximus… at first i wasn’t sure if i liked it but you never realize how tense it is until its being massaged by a chair. The staff are all very friendly and as the previous girl stated the leg and foot massage seemed to last forever. Will definitely be back!!!

BESTPEDICUREEVER! I love pedicures. I do not love being tickled. Usually I deal because I like the rest of it, the massage chair, the exfoliant, and the pampering in general, but I always freak out when they scrub the bottom of my feet. This place rocks because she got the job done with absolutely no tickling. Amazing! And my feet are as smooth as ever. The other thing that generally annoys me at nail shops is they always rush the leg massage and lotion. That is my favorite part and I hate being rushed!!! Lena, the owner, spent 20 minutes on each leg, massaging in some kind of peppermint waxy stuff, then lotion, and then some kind of thick oil. It was effing fabulous! And then the hot towels while she polished my toenails a pretty purple. And it only cost me $ 16. You really can’t beat that! And to think that the only reason I stopped here is because I wanted a pedicure on a Sunday and they were the first shop I drove by that was open… my usual spot is closed on Sundays. I am eternally grateful for that little piece of fate.
