Clean Slate Billiards

I scheduled Clean Slate Billiards to re-​cover my pool table. Dominic called on the day that he had scheduled to do the work, but left a message that he wanted to reschedule. I called back and left a message saying that this was unsatisfactory. The next day, he sent me an email briefly apologizing, and asking to reschedule. When I wrote back that I had already hired someone else to do the job, he wrote me an insulting email. I cannot recommend this company.

I own two businesses and from my perspective, Clean Slate Billiards was very professional from the start. They met my time constraints and Dominique was available and responsive. My used table they moved for me needed new bumpers and they were back the very next day to finish the install. Their prices were fair and I would recommend them to anyone needed these services.

Purchased a nice pool table independently and called Dominique at clean slate billiards for the moving. He quoted me a fair price for the move and Refelt and was able to work with my schedule so I opted to hire him. I bought from an experienced pool enthusiast so I purchased the felt with the table which was probably the same cost as if I bought the standard directly from clean slate because the table felt was already included anyway with the move.
They arrived on time to the appointment and cautiously dismantled the table. They didn’t look very professional and Dominique lost his cool at one point which was a bit uncomfortable. They reassembled it very nicely at my place taking the time to do it correctly. While they were refelting the bumpers Dominique blew up & lost his temper due to a mistake his guy made. Very awkward! After I paid them and they left I see a small hole in the center of the felt. It’s small but Not acceptable after just paying to refelt the table. Dominique says that’s my problem because the felt was generic and I should use superglue to fix. It’s evident clean slate billiards is NOT reputable and Dominique doesn’t stand behind his work. I expected them to offer to come make it right. If it wasn’t for the bad felt job I would have rated 3 star.
