Don’t go… Literally people just stare and follow you the entire time, more annoying than scary. Waste

What a complete waste of money! I wish no stars was a option… I don’t even have the words for what a terrible experience this was… And not terrible as in scary and fun… Just plain old awful

Went here on 10/​25/​2014. This was the worst thing I’ve ever experienced. They wouldn’t even sell the haunted house to us because they admitted «it was a disappointing experience.» THEY SAID THAT AT THE CHECKOUT!
So the only option was a scavenger hunt in the dark with glow sticks. And that’s all it was. A dark house with nothing scary and one room with any effects. They had about 6 (maybe fewer) kids standing around wearing make up just staring at you. Then one kid took away my glow stick which I’m pretty pissed about since that was the only thing worth paying for.
We paid an extra $ 5 to get their «demon ring» which is supposed to be extra scary and that was an utter rip.
For one couple, we paid $ 70+ to walk through 6 dark rooms in 19 minutes. Waste of time and money.
Stay away from this ripoff.

It was great up until the guy at station #5 wouldn’t punch my card unless he was given a kiss. Totally ruined my experience.

We went last year and it was the best haunted house ever. This year we took a group of ten year old three of whome went last year. I have to say this place went from a hero to a zero. It is in a differrent building that is much smaller you go into rooms then you have to double back to go to the next area all the while passing other participants. Not to mention they have all the lights off and you just get a glow stick. So you don’t get to experience any of the themes or differrent environments.
I know its bad because the group of ten year old even thought it was not scarry and were irritated you had to get a stamp. Dont waste your money here. We also went to the Alysum down the street it is much better and cheaper. We are very dissapointed how this haunted house became so dull.

A friend and I went here on oct. 18^th for our annual haunted house a thon where we hit like 3 – 4 haunted houses in a row. We bought groupon tickets for the express line for the Dark Nightmare times event. I would have given it 4 stars if it hadn’t been for the chick they had working at the main desk. She made us wait there while she was on the phone for like 8 – 10 minutes and then when she got off my friend showed her our groupon and the chick said she didn’t know anything about the groupon. lol And then she acted like that was that! I had to ask her… um, ok can you go find someone who does know about the groupons? Bc it says right here that we paid $ 17 for the price of the $ 30 express pass! Soooo, no… you aren’t just going to give us a regular pass that cost $ 15 lady! Wtf?! lol She finally just agreed to let us go with an ‘express’ stamp like she was doing us a favor! lol Gee, thanks for giving us exactly what we paid for!
Anyway, once we got in we loved it! We were handed a red glow stick (it was our only light source) and a card with 10 numbers on it. We were then told that we had to look for the clues (in the dark!) and then once we found each clue we would need to make sure to punch the numbers on the card as we found the clues. It was a fun different twist to the normal haunted house. It was completely dark except for your glow stick and so there was a lot of scaring and screaming going on along the way! lol I would totally recommend it if you want to get scared and have fun at the same time! Also, just a tip… make sure to hold on tight to your glow stick!! hehehe

This a great family friendly haunted house. I enjoyed every minute. I will be going again this year.

We went here with a group of 4 last year and had a ton of fun! It had a good balance of comedy along with a very unique and unsettling vibe.
We loved the spark-​shooting circular saw entertaining guests in line, electric chair photos, elements of comedy, and unique costumes and set designs.
We definitely had fun and. will be coming back this year!

I wish I could give no stars. Big waste of time. Only takes about 5 to 10 minutes if that. Save your money. Bad acting and poor/​cheap props. Also in kind of bad area of town.

I was sooooooo disappointed in this haunted house! It was more like a FUNNY HOUSE cause I could not stop laughing! Don’t get me wrong the people were very nice and their costumes were scary but I felt it shouldn’t be in WA’s top 5. There were rooms that were empty and it was just a scary looking scene, the actors didn’t even jump out at you, you had to look for them! What’s worse is that one of the female actors instead of scaring us she is complimenting my brother in law about his hat in a normal voice! When we finish walking through the haunted house I ask one of the actor’s that seemed to be taking a break smoking if they were short staffed and he say’s «YEA, EVERYONE CALLED IN BECAUSE THEY WENT TO THE PINK CONCERT, SO WE ARE VERY SHORT STAFFED!?» Like seriously dude? You couldn’t tell us that before we paid $ 15 on a LAME ticket? We could at least got a discount or something! Trust me when I say this is the worst non scary haunted house I have ever been to! I suggest you pay $ 3 more dollars to go to the Kiss 106.1 haunted house in Lynnwood, or Kube 93’s in Seattle. Now that’s a scare you’ll never forget & so worth the money!

Visited this place for the first time tonight. It was decent and well decorated. They recommend in going in groups of 2 but no more than 4. We had a group of seven and we still got a good effect. Biggest complaint I have is one of the actresses was totally rude and called us idiots when we couldn’t find our way out to the next room. Mind you now the place is really dark and we don’t know where we are going like they do and the line was so long and $ 15 per person tickets had to be bought in a separate building up the hill so that’s why I’m only giving them 3 stars.

We attended this Haunted House on Saturday evening and arrived right about 7:00pm when the door opened.
We had purchased the deal from Living Social to jump to the front of the line as well as receive a photo taken in the electric chair. It took us a minute to figure out where to go since there was a lack of staff (2 people other than the concession stand staff).
Once in line, we were behind 2 other couples that had appeared to purchase the same deal us us. It took much more time than expected to get the pictures taken and gain access to the haunted house (they actually let in a few groups of standard ticket holders before us).
Once inside the haunted house there really wasn’t much of scare and the timing was really off since we ran into the group that went in before us after the group that came in behind us was right next to us already. I don’t know if this house is worth the cost of admission and I wouldn’t go again unless it was a completely different set up and took more than 3 – 4 minutes to get through.
Oh, and as for the wonderfully pictures we paid for, it was crap to say the least, super fuzzy and poor quality since they were taken with a cell phone and printed on a basic printer and low quality picture paper.
All I can say is that I am just glad I didn’t pay full price.

my husband and i just came from there. we were highly disappointed. We had the living social VIP pass that was supposed to take us to the front of the line, that’s why we paid extra money. We were told to go to this other line and wait for them to let us in. There were about ten people in three groups that were not in the VIP line that got to go in before us. What is the purpose of VIP if you don’t go in before the other people? There was also a group of people who had orange tickets who got to go in before us. Once in the haunted house we were very let down with the lack of scares, there were just a lot of hallways to walk through. And it wasn’t timed to where you wouldn’t run in to other people because two groups that went in after us caught up to us and they even exited before we did. I really wish I could get the extra money back that I paid for the VIP line since it obviously was not a VIP line. Next year treat your VIP people who pay extra money like VIP people, don’t have them wait for others to go in front of them. If all VIP service was like this, I highly doubt VIP service would be in existence.

Hell’s Gateway bills itself as «the first hi-​tech, non-​commercial haunted house in Washington State where all of the scenes and props are timed for the ultimate scare and are controlled by movement, sound and a central computer».
What I found was a disquieting Master of Ceremonies, a Wicked Clown and an intimidating use of power tools.
Inside there was a new twist on the ‘squeeze wall’ along with a well done timber scene and a shocking electrocution chair .
Being its 1^st year and new to public haunting scene, this group has its bloody heart in the right place.
Haunt tickets start at $ 15.00 a head, quite pricey for new haunt, but the going rate in the area.
