La Tresse A Boutique Salon

Its on the corner on dt tacoma. You’ll spot their boutique right away! There’s a private parking lot but I was unsure whether I could park there or not but there is parallel parking max 2 hours.
Once you enter you see the front desk and the salon itself.
Its such a cute warm girly atmosphere.
Everyone seem friendly and joyful.
I went in here for my first Brazilian wax appointment with Kylee. She made my first time a great experience. She was friendly, outgoing, and sweet. She explained the process and asked each time you wanted a break. Being my first time there was so much I worried about such as, exposing myself, the pain tolerance, etc. but Kylee made sure it was an easy going less painful process she could.
The pricing is reasonable for her work. I most definitely would always come back to her!
Its all waxing, no tweezing.

This place is so awesome, that your hair just might want to come back like 80 billion times. Seriously the workers here, on point. This is exactly what I love to see in a salon, people working, the stylist/​artist/​awesome-​ists have wonderful conversations. They’re truly caring towards their clientele. Thank you all!!!

Kylee is a must see for eye lash extensions. She’s experienced and trained to not ruin your eyelashes. Love how they look and feel!

Ciara is incredible! So informative and professional. I can walk in not really knowing exactly what I want done and I can trust her to style my hair better then I could have imagined on my own. Her coloring skills are exceptional and I have never left unsatisfied. I even got my husband to go to her and he got the best haircut he’s ever had. She has been doing my hair for over a year now and I would recommend her to anyone.

Mia did an AMAZING job today on my hair. I can’t even believe how much of a difference she made in just one session. I highly recommend checking out this cute little salon!

I just got back from seeing Corinna and I love love love my hair! I could not be more happy. I would definitely recommend her! The salon is adorable and customer service was great. I will be returning for sure!

This place is great! I’ve been coming to Mia for cuts for about 3 years now. She always does a fantastic job. I’ve also seen Abrah for a few massages, and she is up there with the best of them!

This review is for MIA, who has MUCH to learn about customer service. LONG story short, I bought an Amazon Local coupon for services. After I scheduled an appt. she canceled it saying she was sick. When I tried to reschedule she said she was going on maternity leave. I waited to use the coupon until she came back from maternity leave and she would NOT honor the coupon! WTF?! She said I’d have to also «pay the difference»… Uh, someone needs to learn a little about something called customer service. Luckily I got a refund from Amazon Local after explaining the MULTIPLE problems I had in dealing with Mia… Don’t even bother scheduling with her.

Mia fit me in last minute today, spent allot of time on my hair, and did a great job! She did exactly what I asked, and was looking for! This was my first time at this salon. The place us super cute, cozy, and in a great location! Definitely recommend coming here!

This review is for Kylee — I purchased a groupon for a brazilian wax after reading the reviews for Kylee, and I was even more pleased upon actually meeting her! She is the sweetest/​cutest little thing, and made the uncomfortable experience of being waxed by a total stranger completely enjoyable! (Or at least enjoyable as it can be). She was super quick too — I was done in about 15 min, which is even better! Her prices regularly aren’t bad either. She has found a loyal customer with me — I’ll drive out of my way from now on to get waxed by her!

I go here all the time. I absolutely adore Amber. My hair always looks amazing. She gives me great input and I’ve never left unhappy. I drive a half an hour each way just to see her. Kilee also does amazing brows! Positive happy atmosphere.

Came here with a Groupon deal for a brazillian wax, but I’m too much of a chicken s*** so I opted for a bikini wax. Kylee made this experience awesome and I would give her 10 stars if I could. She was professional, friendly, and fast. This place is out of my way (since I stay in Puyallup and could go to many other nearby places) but I enjoyed the outcome and Kylee so much that I’ll be coming here from now on. Yay for awesome service!

Went here using a Living Social deal and overall my hair looks good, even if it wasn’t exactly what I wanted. Saw Mia and on my 3^rd appointment got my hair partially foiled and cut (the first time I canceled, the second time she did). She talked a lot about her pregnancy and all things related which I think is a personal subject you probably shouldn’t talk about with a stranger. I had to ask for a glass of water which most salons offer (small thing but kind of says a lot). Also she had a bang trim appt during my appointment which was a little uncomfortable. I do like how my hair color and cut turned out but will not be returning, the stylists seemed to be in their own world and less focused on their customers.

I came in for an all over color and a haircut by Missy. I had been searching for a stylist since mine moved away about a year ago and I am so happy to say the search is over. The salon is super cute, clean and welcoming.
Missy was amazing. She helped select a color that was exactly what I was looking for and the cut is amazing. She was polite, professional and super skilled! I am actually writing this review a little over a month after I came in and I am still getting compliments on my cut and color. I can honestly say I am looking forward to coming back and can’t wait to try the other services they offer.

Today I visited Amber at the salon for full foil, trim and wash!!! and let me tell you I give her 10 stars right now if I could she did an amazing job and she worked so hard and so effortlessly and she loves what she does so she has a natural knack for it. The color is perfect and condition stellar. All the girls are awesome, Amber is a true color expert. Thank you

I have been searching for a hair stylist since I moved to Tacoma 10 years ago and I finally found one at La Tresse. Missy is the best! It’s super easy to get to AND they offer you espresso or tea as soon as you walk in. Gotta love that!

Abrah gives the best massages known to man! Mia has given me the best hair color I could ask for time and again, and kylee’s chemical peels have literally saved my skin and it’s future! Everyone here knows what they are doing and the place is adorable!
