My dad has a $ 100 watch that he loves but the band broke on. I wasn’t sure if it was really worth fixing, but he loves it, so I swung by here to see about having it fixed(thinking if it was too big a hassle I would just get him a new one, even though he likes what he has). About 10 minutes after walking in, I walked out with a brand new clasp for the band for only $ 20. It is a really cool place and I think anyone looking for watch or clock repair should stop by. It is a dying artform, in part because people just buy new when what they have doesn’t work anymore. But it is definitely an artform, and one we should encourage to remain a viable business.

Really nice people. Took in a couple of clocks with electric drive. One had a loose hour hand, the other needed a new movement. Fixed the hour hand — no charge. Promised to replace the movement in the other clock within a week. 3 days later I got a call letting me know the movement was replaced. They work on all kinds of clocks, modern, antique and watches. Try this business. You will be happy you did!

Seven months later my wristband is still holding together, which never would have happened after a visit to the previous repair shop. Thank you, Jim.

Dropped my Seiko chronometer on the tile floor a few weeks ago. One of the hands fell off. Took it to Jim at Pt. Defiance Clock Shop. Great little shop across the street from the Cloverleaf Tavern. Jim tried to fix it while I waited but the job involved taking the dial off and he wanted to take his time. A second dial came off when he opened the case BTW. A week later it was done. $ 50 including a new battery. Very pleased. Stop in at the top of the hour if only to hear all the great old clocks on the wall chime the hour. Highly recommended

I called and talked about a problem with our grandfather clock on Monday. Within a couple of days Jim called to let me know he or Bob would be out by the end of the week. Bob came out on Thursday. Fixed the grandfather clock and also did some adjustment on another clock. Bob, the original owner was great! He knows his clocks. Would definitely recommend them.

Jim is a great merchant to work with and has decades of experience in the business. He offers fast service on quick watch battery jobs but has a much more significant business in repairing and selling antique wall, mantle & grandfather clocks. He quickly discovered a problem with my wristwatch that I wasn’t even aware of, great service! They have a great selection of wonderful things in this small shop, full of great gift ideas and lots of expert advice. We want a grandfather clock in the next few months and we’ll certainly buy one from Point Defiance Clock.
