If I could give them zero stars, I would. After four days of my husband and I checking in on a prescription that had been called into the pharmacy on multiple occasions, my prescription still could not be found anywhere in the system. So, I had my doctor personally call the pharmacist and she spoke with him to make sure it would be filled. Wouldn’t you know it, it wasn’t there again! I was told that no conversation had taken place and I was asked to wait while they called my doctors office to get my prescription. I was assured it was resolved. A few minutes later the lady at the counter shouted across a busy waiting room to ask me what specific prescription I was needing filled. I thought they had some sort of privacy policy? After I responded the pharmacy technician in the back said,“You mean this one over here?!” And I overheard her ask why no one had double checked, and further indicated that my prescription had been sitting there for several days. At this point I was fuming. Then the lady working the counter called me back over for my insurance and told me it was under my maiden name and that’s why it could not be found. By the way, each and every time I called or went in to pick up I specified both my married and maiden name and let them know it could be under either. Unprofessional. Incompetent. And horribly managed. Oh, and after my prescription was finally discovered, in plain sight, I was still unable to receive my prescription because they couldn’t get through to my insurance. Going to try again tomorrow… and maybe the day after that… it’s unfathomable that these people are the ones who are given the responsibility of handling life saving medications. If you’re someone who needs a reliable pharmacy, this isn’t the place for you.

They had good sale on Pepsi ever now and then, they also had a good sale on the pods we use for the washer– but they were out of them– the MJR did give me a rain check for it, and looked on his computer and found a Walgrens that did had some left– so must say he went out of his way to try and help. Overall, Walgreens is ok IMO will shop there if they have a good sale on something, otherwise a lot of their prices seem to be on the higher end.

Upon pulling into the drive thru, I could barely make out what was being said because the speaker was so distorted. I could only make out that they don’t accept my insurance. Beyond that I couldn’t tell what she said, so I drove off. I was so irritated at that point that I just didn’t bother going inside. So, I had to drive ten miles to my own home, search which pharmacy takes my insurance. I ended up finding one and when I called they not only assisted, but included extra detail! It was bad enough that Walgreens was originally created for military and they stopped accepting Tri-Care(primary military insurance), and now they are picky about which government insurance they accept(I don’t mean medicaid/medicare either)! I will no longer support a business that cannot support the basic insurance that they began their business for!

At midnight, I needed some Aquaphor for my recently done tattoo, Walmart was too far and I didn’t think Walgreens was open but looked like it was, I stepped in, got what I need and checked out. As for the details, I walked in, I looked up at the signs on the ceiling and located my ointment right away without hestiation like most places, I have to flag down a employee or look through the whole store.

So you’ve seen the new ads showing pharmacist running through store helping customers –YEAH right! You will not find that at this Walgreens. This new ad is such a joke… I think Walgreen pharmacists vaporize or something if they leave the comfort of the pharmacy. I was looking for some burn medication and could not find it myself so I went to the pharmacy to ask the pharmacist if he could show me something. He says, I can tell you about the Rx ones but you will need to get a script for them. He then adds, I will get my tech to help you. So I waited for her to get«un-busy» which never happen, and after 10 minutes of waiting, he says she is «to busy» I’ll page a manager to help you. The Manager walks me over 10 feet away from the pharmacy and shows me the burn medications.(10 feet away from the pharmacy) The pharmacist was doing nothing, he was not helping another customers, and the burn medication was directly in front of him and he still would not help me with the over the counter medications. The store has signs showing pharmacist going out of their way to help, talk about a pathetic attempts to get customers back with this commercial. So if you are looking for that interaction with a pharmacist you are out of luck because you will not find a pharmacist run thru a store and jumping into beach balls here.
