BEWARE! This place is very deceptive and absolutely zero customer service. Booked my room directly with hotel, never received a confirmation. On the day of arrival, we realized we booked in the wrong city. Attempted to cancel the reservation at noon time and was informed there was a 14 day cancellation for this weekend and I would be charged the full 2 nights if I cancelled. Attempted to discuss with the manager on duty that I was never informed of this at the time I made reservation, never received a confirmation stating this«policy», and would have NEVER made a reservation at any hotel that had a 14 day cancellation policy! Manager just kept saying«NO» and refused to consider the situation and refused to transfer my call to someone of higher authority. We kept our commitment to this lousy place and stayed there despite our college aged son and his entire soccer team stayed 40 miles away. we travelled to and from this town each day. Upon arrival, the front desk presented me with a typed paper to sign saying I would agree to charges to my credit card if I did not stay the entire 2 nights! I will never stay at this chain ever and will inform my corporate travel department to list this chain as «not recommended». Highly deceptive, unethical, and horrible customer service! I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau! I reached out to the corporate hotel chain for assistance with resolution but did not hear back from«Michael». Check out the bed sheets… gross!!’ We got new sheets from a very nice lady in housekeeping and did not notify the front desk because of lack of confidence in their ability and willingness to resolve complaints.

I’ve stayed here twice while in Tahlequah. My experience has been consistently satisfactory. There was a cigarette burn in one of the sheets on one of the beds and some mildew stains on the shower curtain, but otherwise the experience was great. Clean rooms and quiet, comfy beds. Gave us military discount, which I always appreciate.

Horrible hotel. Check-in is at 3 but housekeeping didn’t have rooms clean until 5. Even then, the room was dirty; a fungus was growing between the bathroom tiles. As we walked to the room, housekeeping was on her cell phone having a conversation and not working. 7am breakfast was good, but was not restocked so the rest of our party had to go to McDonalds for breakfast at 9am. This is after we had to go to the store to get sugar for the coffee. The front desk never asked about our stay and simply said«have a good one» when we left. How professional. I guess the hallway was clean so that’s good. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed two consecutive weekends. August 10&17. Staff was great front desk gave us good information about the area. Breakfast person was very friendly. Breakfast selection was ok. Would be nice to have bacon or sausage as an option. Now the rooms could use attention. Some outlets did not work, our room was missing an iron, bathroom towels were small and thin. Beds were comfortable and a good selection of tv channels.

ROOM(121 — King(handicap?) w Jacuzzi) FRIDGE(Yes) MICROWAVE(Yes) COFFEEPOT(Yes) TV(Dynex 40″ LCD) DESK(Yes) COUCH(No) INTERNET(Free — Wifi or Wired) PARKING(Free) RATE(August, 2012 — $ 114/night) PROS — 3 Person Hot Tub! But I’m sure it’s not all rooms. — High ceilings(probably only on 1st floor) — Wall/Floor unit AC cools the room quickly. CONS — Stand-up shower is poorly designed — Master Power Switch is poorly placed. — Desk Area poorly placed — Carpet looks dirty — Housekeeping a little lacking — Outdated Business Center NOTES I’ve never had a room with a hot tub in it. It’s so cool! But too bad it’s just me on this trip :(Placement is nice, it’s in the corner with a very good view of the TV. Faucet puts out very hot water. Jets are semi-powerful, but are a little low, so they aim at your thighs. Jets turn on via a timer from 0 – 60 minutes. The standup shower really irks me. I see a support bar, and it’s got a built in seat, so I’m assuming it’s a handicap room. The reason the shower sucks is because unlike other standup showers, it doesn’t have a door, but rather a curtain. The edge of the floor only comes up about ½ of an inch, so even if the curtain was designed right, water would spill over easily. The problem is, the rail of the curtain curves out, past the edge of the shower floor, so any water on the curtain will fall right out onto the bathroom floor. So after a shower, there is literally a small river inching its way to the toilet. I throw almost every towel at it to contain it. Poor design! When I first walked in the room, I almost called the front desk because I thought a fuse blew. The bathroom door opens 180 degrees, and when it’s like that, it covers 2 electric switches. One of them controls the fan above the hot tub. The other controls every lamp, outlet, and alarm clock! So, when I flipped the switches to off, nothing worked. Then I realized what it was, and I had to set the clock. Freaking stupid! There’s no marking or anything! The desk is basically the dresser unit, but the middle is cut out and extends out a little for some workspace. The TV takes up the left side of the dresser/desk unit. Poor placement comes in, because if you’re sitting in the middle, like the desk is designed for, you don’t have much room between the chair and the foot of the king bed. Maybe I’m being a little too critical here, but while housekeeping made my bed and restocked my towels, they didn’t do much else. I don’t even know if they vacuumed, because on my way out, I accidentally knocked some papers on the floor. When I got back, they were still there. In the shower, I dropped the shampoo bottle on the floor, and it was still there when I got back. I left the sink a mess, toothbrush here, razor there, toothpaste here, etc. and it was the same when I got back. Even places like Rodeway Inn would organize that stuff! Business Center only has Office 2003, so I couldn’t load/print any of my Office 2010 documents without converting. Despite all these, though, it’s not a bad room. The A/C really kicks out some cool air, and amenities are great, just not sure they thought through the design much. Didn’t check out the pool or fitness center.

I had a king suite. The bed was nice but the rooms are smallish. No toilet lids and the towel storage is directly above. Bad planning IMHO.
