I’ve been going to Lake Tahoe most of my life and our family has grown to 10 so comfortable accommodations are a must! We found Stay in Tahoe and have used a few of there properties always found them to be clean, well equipped and convently located. Debbie and Nick are easy to contact and book our vacation. The most recent one is by far our favorite for location to the public beach access to Lake Tahoe, hiking trails, centrally located between North Star and Squaw Valley. We’re planning on booking all our tahoe adventures through stay in Tahoe!

I have been renting long term rentals from Deborah at Stay in Lake Tahoe for many years. She is easy to work with, helpful and responsive when any problems arise. I always recommend Stay In Lake Tahoe Rentals to my friends and family for vacation or long term rentals.

My only experience with this company was within the last week. I booked a rental cabin on Aug. 15th through Deborah Milani with Stay In Lake Tahoe for the weekend of Aug. 22 – 24 as I was attending the Shakespeare Festival in Sand Harbor, Lake Tahoe. However I was in Providence Rhode Island when I made the online arrangements securing housing for my son who is attending college there. As it turned out I was unable to come home in time for the festival and I asked Debbie if they would please cancel my reservations. She said they have policies and procedure and that is not in the agreement.(I had not signed the agreement yet. However they did charge my credit card for the $ 575.00) I pleaded with her as one business owner to the other that circumstances beyond our control happen in life and would she please make this exception since I had just made the arrangements a few days ago and there wasn’t 45 days to cancel. She said she would try to rent it but did not. I ended up getting charged the full amount and asked my sister to take the place who could not afford to rent it so I am now out close to $ 600.00. I am appalled at Deborah Milani’s lack of customer service and would never recommend anyone reserving through this company. I own a business myself and understand the human element of life. I don’t think this company does. It’s poor customer service and I just have to think that they must be pretty hard up financially. I just hope that the cabin I paid for my sister to stay in is more pleasant than Deborah Milani was.
