What a wonderful little shop! The whole place is filled with unique & exotic gifts and some of the most interesting art pieces. I also had a great pleasure talking with Denise, the shop owner, who’s extremely kind and friendly. Such a lovely place to visit.

Unique items — awesome finds. A great place to shop when you need something wonderful, but you aren’t sure what that something is. A true gem of a store!

Loooooveee this place. A cute little gift shop overflowing with a crazy variety of all sorts of things from wind chimes to necklaces and more. So many cute, mysterious and just plain cool knick knacks and such. The owner is sooo sweet. I felt I have to correct the person down below who assumes she racially profiles people. The store is very crowded and it is easy to break things so maybe that’s why she repeatedly asked you to be careful. I am also African American and I went in with my two little brothers AND little sister and she was sooo kind. Yes, she did ask us to be careful(which was understandable) she gave us all hugs and made conversation and even gave us an extra caramel with our purchase(which was delicious!) My little brother just adores her now.

A great place for gifts, whether practical(whimsical housewares, beautiful umbrellas) or just for fun(Turkish items, wood carvings, wall art). Extensive collection of jewelry from many countries. Gorgeous upholstered stools and unusual tables. Hats and bags you won’t find elsewhere. I LOVE shopping there, and have brought friends who have been equally entranced. A wide range of prices, too. GO!!!

Owner is fabulous, the Turkish goods are beautiful and I loved every minute of my hour plus visit. If you like Turkey and miss it, here is your taste and chance to bring some of it into your home. I loved the wall of «boncuklar» and her jewelry was beautiful. A fantastic gift and tchotchke shop and worth drowning yourself in now and then :)

You can’t go wrong with a warm, hilarious staff and a store stocked to the ceiling with a wonderfully eclectic collection of furnishings and clothes from decades past. I’ll be looking for excuses to shop here.

A delightful shop, full of magical delights! Things you’ve never seen before and at a fair price. Many items are hand made and unique! Definitely worth taking time to visit. Some of the most unusual cards I have seen, lamps, clocks, pens and pillows, mugs… more! Fascinating, wonderful lady who runs this shop!

Every time I stop in I end up buying something. I love the owner and the store. She is very kind to my kids when I come in. She offers them free candies etc. I have been buying items from Magic Carpet thru the years.

I went into the Magic Carpet and was in awe! The beautiful and nice Turkish woman — Deniz is so sweet and will give you great advice. The stuff she sells is so quaint and amazing. So much variety of all types of things. Perfect for buying one-of-a-kind gifts for birthdays or weddings. Definitely go by and check it out!

This store is magical and has so many wonderful things — I saw everything from furniture to gift items to beautiful jewelry. The owner is so sweet and helpful — she helped me find the perfect ring for a concert I was going to perform in.

I used to like this place, and I still like the things in it. But on my last visit, I became very offended by the service provided by the owner. I’m African-American and I feel that I was treated as though she couldn’t trust me and my younger sisters in her store. And I’m not a person to easily say this, but I feel she racially profiles customers. I will never go back again. She watched us closely although others were in the sore, and she repeatedly came to tell us to be careful around the things. Say it once — that’s enough. Say it again and again, and I know that you’re watching me. I encourage you to spend your money elsewhere.
