Tamaqua Area School District

The 4 dumbest things in my experience as a graduate of the Tamaqua Area School District:
1. When I was in 10^th grade, my economics teacher told us that the business cycle might be a thing of the past and that economic expansion might go on forever.
2. My guidance counselor rebuked me when I told her that I wanted to be a tattoo artist. She told me it was dangerous, dirty, and a passing fad. I never pursued it.
3. The Assistant Principal made me take of a hoodie that said «I love explosives» on the front. I was a stupid kid and I didn’t know my rights. If my kid ever comes home with a similar story, I’d be on the phone with the ACLU in 30 seconds.
4. They’re making kids wear uniforms now. Some schools have real problems.
