I love this place, I have been coming here for eyebrow threading for about 3 or 4 years now. It’s quick and easy, I don’t even mind the short wait sometimes. The wait is a good sign it means people keep coming back for the service. The staff is courteous and polite and listen to what you want, plus the price of $ 10 for threading is fantastic. In response to one of the other reviewers who said their eyebrows did not look different, I would rather have them look not so different than totally messed up! If you are not feeling any of your hairs being yanked out maybe you should let them know.

I will never go anywhere else to get my eyebrows done. I have been coming here for a few months now, I used to get waxed and a coworker recommended threading at this place in particular and I have never gone back to waxing. Sam is a miracle worker– go see her!!! :)

Very happy every time I need my brows done. Just make sure you know their new hours. They are now closed on Mondays. Their times may have changed as well.

I found this one on Davis island I walked right in sat down and it only took about 5 mins to get them done. My eyebrows look great and I don’t even need to do any plucking. This is the best eyebrow threading I’ve found in Tampa. And I’ve been to many

So thankful to have threading close by. I’ve been coming here for about two years now, back when it was Badar’s. Sam, the owner and threader, is great and takes her time. I can’t understand the bad reviews! I’ve been getting threaded for about 15 years in bigger cities and absolutely know the difference between good and mediocre threading places. At Davis Islands, it’s clean, affordable, fast, and consistently good. I’ve never had a bad experience here.
FYI — Like all threading places, you’ll have to explain what your goals are. If you’re looking to thicken your eyebrows, it’s a totally different process than getting them shaped. Be sure to explain what you want!

Sadly, not impressed at all. My eyebrows do not look any different than when I walked in. They’re actually now uneven. I read such positive reviews regarding this eyebrow-​threading salon. I even asked her if she was able to do the shape I wanted. She said confidently that she could. That’s one of my biggest pet peeves! Do not tell me you are capable of something if you are not! Especially when I voice my concerns and share with you my previous experiences and how disappointed I’ve been when my eyebrows get yanked out and there’s no way to fix them until they grow back in. Some of you may think my rating is too rough but Im highly disappointed with my experience here. If I had had time, I would have returned but who knows what they might then look like. Guess I’ll have to fix them myself and pray they look better.

Badar has left David Island. The new person is okay, but not as good as the ladies at Badar! The shaping is not as good and usually the threading last 3 – 4 weeks now it is every two weeks. I think I will have to make the trip to Badars on Fowler to have my eyebrows done

Service was good and my eyebrows look great! There is only one person who does threading at this salon, but I was able to only have one person on the chair in front of me and was able to get in and out in ten minutes.
There’s parking in front of the salon and the place was clean.
Only complaint is that the chair she had me sit in for threading was uncomfortable, it didn’t recline.

Finally found a great threading place in Tampa, having recently moved here. Sam was great and efficient and my eyebrows looked great. All it costs is $ 10 and i gave a $ 5 tip because i was so pleased with the result! I will definitely be back!

I get my highlights here with Helen and am very happy. She is very experienced and gets the job done quickly and reasonably priced. I have found my new eyebrow threading place.
I walked in and was seated immediately. The lady was excellent. The process barely hurt, and I think my eyebrows look the best they have ever looked.
The best part was it was only $ 10! That’s much cheaper than my previous place, where the results were inconsistent. And, I didn’t have to leave south Tampa!

Finally, an eyebrow threading place in Florida that doesn’t cost me an arm and a leg!
My sister introduced me to threading a few years ago and since then it’s been the only way I keep my eyebrows in check. I had actually been growing them out for quite some time but these brows needed a shape up so I headed to Badars.
I walked right in and the lady working got to work immediately. The entire process took maybe five minutes and my eyebrows look awesome. The threading was $ 10, slightly higher than prices in a place like New York, but still fair. I tipped $ 3, so the total ended up being $ 13.
If you’re looking for threading, I think this is a great place to go. I know Badars has more than one location in Tampa. I’ll definitely be coming back here on a regular basis. They did a spectacular job on taming my brows.

I discovered the Monday/​Tuesday/​Wednesday hair special at Badar’s, so now I get a great haircut and style for $ 15. Pablo, one of the shop’s owners, is a very personable stylist who gives a fast, precision cut. Sandro is also very energetic and full of character.
Overall, I get a good vibe when I come in, and if I come as a walk-​in I’ve not had to wait. This is a clean establishment run by good people. I think I get a great value and feel welcome each time I stop in.

I’m a threading convert from waxing. The Badar’s location in Wesley Chapel got me hooked and I’m so happy there is a location in Davis Island, which is closer to where I now reside.
There is infrequently a wait, the threader is efficient & really nice. I wish Sumara was at the location, but I’ll gladly keep my business coming to Badar’s, no matter who the threader is-​love love love.
