Dollar Tree Stores

I love this store! They always have such cute and/​or practical items here for only a dollar each. I come here a lot to shop for odds and ends, organizational items, as well as monthly replenishments for some of my household cleaning supplies. The quality for a lot of their products are usually surprisingly good.
This store location is hit and miss when it comes to how well-​stocked or organize it can be during the holidays due to high demand. Usually, it is pretty organized during most of the year. This is my perspective from shopping here in the evenings on my way home. Maybe the daytime is a little bit better, but I’m not sure. I can update my review after a day visit I suppose.
It’s location at the Britton plaza on South Dale Mabry makes for a convenient and efficient shopping experience.

Sometimes they have really good stock, sometimes not so much.
It does get new stuff in all the time so check back if you think they would have something and didn’t have it one day… I went in for some round/​square table cloths last week only to find thin plastic banquet table sized covers but went back in yesterday and they had 4 different color, super thin vinyl covers in round, square, oblong… I was just taking a chance to see if they got something in that would work and there they were! So I got 20 of them.
When you return something, beware, you can only replace with something else right then and there. No cash back, no refunds on your CC and no store credit. You can leave the bag of however many items you got and get the same number of new items to replace them with at that time.
It is a great place to get mylar balloons and the seasonal stuff can be fun. Some days I feel its a great score, some days I don’t…but usually it’s pretty good — I mean, everything is just a buck!

Considering the amount of merchandise they have it always looks organized and clean. The customer service agents are all friendly and seem to actually enjoy their jobs. They have absolutely everything here including a refrigerated section in the back. Between this place and Big Lots I save so much money it’s absolutely awesome! It’s also my only stop for greeting cards and gift wrapping plus lots of great little gifts.

Within the huge Britton Plaza outdoor mall, the official address is 3908 South Dale Mabry Highway. Lots of stuff in this store just a few steps from the HART transfer station, so convenient for bus riders. The PSTA St Petersburg express bus also stops here.
Kind pleasant cashier when I was there last week. Amazing what you can get for a buck here, including many food items.

The Dollar Tree is amazing! Gift bags! Drink mixes! Helium fancy balloons!
Some name brand stuff, but regardless… amazing when everything is a dollar (or less!).
Beware of long lines, though. Have patience when crossing the threshold of the Dollar Tree.
