This place is a complete dump. The owner Dan is so unprofessional he was hitting on my friends and I who came in to have a drink because we live close by. If the food or drinks were good I maybe would have tolerated his boasting about himself and all the authentic things about the place. But even that was awful. Not to mention he’s married I only found this out because the waiter reminded him that his wife and daughter would be there soon. Which repulsed me because I couldn’t even go in there to enjoy myself. And if you’re on a date that won’t stop him or his staff from hitting on either party and the slow service to keep a convo going.
I’ll never go to this place again. Last but not least there was a piece of plastic in my food. I have no idea how anyone could like this place unless they are completely intoxicated and delusional to their surroundings. I hope something worth the space moves into that place because any friend that I’ve heard goes there has a similar experience.

I stopped in here after Gasparilla and it was surprisingly empty considering it was next to the parade route. My girlfriend and I sat in one of the sofas and enjoyed a grape mint hookah as a few drunk stragglers came in. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hookah was reasonably priced and quality. The set up was a bit odd as they had a large open area in the center without tables while there were only a few couches and chairs. I’m not sure what people do when it’s crowded. Either way, it was a nice relaxing atmosphere to spend an hour at.

All in one, one of a kind place! Everything you need in 1 place… They got nights where you can go, chill watch the games, poker nights, party nights and jazz nights! Also open for private and public parties and social events One of the coolest places in Tampa! The owner is a great guy, very classy and open minded. I would recommend everyone to check it out!

Great place for a cigar, beer and watching football. The owner is fantastically friendly, and bartenders are great. Highly recommend visiting while traveling for work or pleasure.

Amazing place! The employees care so much about customer experience it’s ridiculous. The first night we were out here they didn’t have a flavor that I asked for so they made a custom mix of hookah. The second night we came out they weren’t happy with performance with one of the hookahs so they remade my hookah just so I would enjoy it more. I didn’t even ask! I have never gone to a place that cares that much. Everyone was so welcoming and wonderful. This is a true gem of a place. Love it!

Awesome little place, very impressed. Came in after dinner on a Friday night. Great jazz band, good wine and hookah. Jade was very friendly and attentive, we’ll definitely try to sit in her section again. The only negative thing I have to say about the place is that they serve oak leaf (basically wal mart brand) wine. It’s my fault for not asking more about what kind it was before they opened it, the fact that it was only $ 20 should’ve been more of a red flag I suppose. I’m sure that they have other wines to offer though. All in all its a great hangout spot downtown, they book great music, and the service is excellent. I’ll be back for sure.

Stopped in on a Sunday to check this place out. There was no one there other than the young lady running the place. She was pleasant and served us but just average service, nothing to write home about.
We were suprised to learn that chips and humus was the only food available. We decided to try this place because we thought we saw online that they offered meditaranian «tapas» type food. We each had a beer and snacked on the chips and humus.
It was Sunday afternoon, none of the tv’s were on until we asked, at which time one was turned on so we could watch the game.
The set up and décor is really well done. The humidor and cigar selection seemed to be a bit on the small side.
This place is downtown so maybe there is a better vibe during the week. I probably won’t go back though.

You can drink a nice beverage and have a cigar with music, and a there is a large screen TV. Cool place. The nice lady that helped me knew her cigars. Very knowledgeable and friendly. I recommend this place.

This is a great place to lounge around! The atmosphere is very cool and chill. If you’re a cigar fan, it’s definitely a great place to visit! The downtown location is also great for a place to relax after work. I would definitely recommend this place!

Really wish I lived nearby! Can’t wait to chill with Bea, Dan and Roland again. A super fun and helpful staff aren’t all. They offer Stella Cidre, wine, cigars, a light if you need one, and delicious hookah. Besides coming into Tampa and beautifully restoring an old Tampa haunt, they expertly decorated it as well. The Jacobean/​Victorian furniture is kept closed on the floor, but each heavy piece opens up in elaborate and surprising ways adding mystery and elegance to the sexy and artsy look that the plush couches and candlelit fireplace provide. Chillage is made easy with a superior exhaust system that makes you forget folks are smoking huge cigars in here. The best way to take this place in is to pick a spot, get comfy and soak in all the sights, sounds and alcoholic thirst quenchers at this amazing new spot!

If I lived near downtown, I’d be a regular. Me and La Chica rolled in here and chewed the fat with B, Roland and Dan (bartender and owners) until closing time, and we had a blast. We rapped about everything from guayaberas to politics in Lebanon – real cool people. Moreover, the place was aesthetically pleasing, sporting the original 1920’s hardwood floors that were long forgotten underneath a sad layer of carpet and tiles which owner Dan had ripped up. I just love it when people take pride in old buildings, I guess.
They boast a small closet-​sized humidor with a stogie selection that’s more than adequate. There’s something for everyone, wether you’re into short, flavored smokes or a 45 minute locally-​rolled maduro. They also feature lots of vino and have a few beers on tap, in addition to some bottles. Seriously folks, if you like to chill and indulge in the gift that the Taíno people gave us so long ago, then this is a must-​stop while downtown. I don’t hand out many 5-​star ratings, so heed my word.

Went via the creative loafing deal excepting this place to be like cigar castle, like a lounge /​humidor setup. The selection isn’t big as its more a lounge than anything but they did provide great customer service and I will definitely be back for more than just stocking my humi!

I just moved to downtown Tampa last month and John Rolfe is my favorite local haunt! The owner, Dan, is a warm, welcoming, gracious and giving host. His hospitality alone won me over the first time I stepped inside. Since then, I have patroned the cozy lounge on a regular basis. The atmosphere is super chill and comfy, the wine is delicious, the service is stellar and the live music entertainment is top notch. And if your timing is right, you may even fall upon a food tasting that brings the experience to another sensory level!

Went last Saturday Night, very cool intimate cigar. Polite staff, great wine, & simply awesome Hookah! Owner makes a great fresh berry personally!!! The place is going to grow and develop fast!!! Nice leather couches modern décor, such a great improvement to the area! Such a classy place to chill have a glass of wine, enjoy talking to friends, have a cigar or hookah simply awesome.
Going to need to visit when they have the live Jazz Bands! I overheard plans to open more space upstairs! So cool to have a cigar bar that is classy!

If you are looking for a great cigar bar, this is the place. Located in the heart of downtown Tampa, it has a city flare, however you won’t get the dregs — just a very nice and exciting experience, about how exciting a cigar bar can get. Went on a Wednesday night, and as you know Wednesdays can be slow and boring if nightlife is what you seek, however there was a great singer/​piano duo who were fantastic and people very freindly Good cigar selection, and if they don’t have what you want they will get it for you for the next time you frequent. They just opened last week so they don’t have a full liquor license, but do have beer and wine and my favorite Stella Artrois. I will be back.
