I never write reviews but my experience was so HORRIBLE I feel that I must tell my story. I hope no one has to endure what my wife and I just went through. I would NEVER recommend using Keller Williams! Ann Carlson did absolutely NOTHING to rectify our situation. She was the«sellers» agent and made sure she collected her commission and nothing else! Original closing date was supposed to be Jan 15 but the seller asked for more time and asked for the closing to be on Jan 29 to give them more time to move to NY. Even though all parties are aware my wife is 9 months pregnant and timing was a HUGE issue. We agreed to move the closing date to January 29, 2016 to give the sellers ample time to pack, move, & clean. Three days before we close(Jan 26) my buying agent Ron Waller(who was AMAZING btw) fixed ALL of Ann’s short comings. Ann tells us the seller didn’t know he had to be out of the house on the 29th. So here were are, my wife 39 weeks pregnant and we didn’t have a house to move into because Ann didn’t do her job. Extremely unprofessional, no apology, no offering to make things right(I had to pay an extra $ 2000.00 in fees to landlord, storage unit, uhaul etc and wasn’t offered a dime from Ann or seller) As I said DONOT use Ann Carlson! Incompetent and will NOT do anything to make sure your process goes smoothly. I will continue to post these until Ann or someone from Keller Williams contacts me.

When I was looking to finance the purchase of my home, in the New Tampa, Land O’ Lakes and Wesley Chapel area, my realtor referred me to Shannon Barron of Van Dyk Mortgage. Shannon Barron explained my mortgage options, guided me through the mortgage application and got me to the closing table on time. With all of the mortgage options out there today, Shannon was a true seasoned professional that cared about me and took the time to keep up informed every step of the way. When I look back at the many lenders and mortgage brokers I spoke with, the choice was easy, and Shannon Barron at VanDyk Mortgage will be my lender for life. I understand why my realtor trusted Shannon with her clients over the years and encouraged me to just give her a call. That first call was all I needed to hear. I had a challenge along the way but Shannon prepared me for it and I began to gather the necessary documents to resolve the issue. Once it came up, I had what I needed and it did not result in panic, stress or frustration. I felt calm and in capable hands. With the not now if or when a short sale officer is approved that creates stress by circumstance. Shannon understands that and kept me focused n what was happening. I felt very much in control of my own destiny. I do not hesitate to refer Shannon Barron to my friends and family. She is a trustworthy professional. She searched for the best rates and her fees were very competitive.
