Macy’s

Low selection of items and the place is consistently dead. Seriously don’t even know how they stay in business. Definitely go to Citrus Park or Westshore instead.

Grew up in NY going to Macy’s and tried this location to beat the crowds and it worked! Also thrilled to have the assistance of Pat in the jewelry department. She knew her inventory and took into account my wants and needs instead of her agenda. Pleased with my purchase ask for Pat in fine jewelry to assist you with your holiday shopping!

University Mall. What can you say about University Mall they’re trying. They added the new movie studio to try in get customers back into the area and the building.
Overall the building is so dilapitated it needs a paint job but it just needs an overall brightening up. As most stores have closed up in this location macy’s has been able to hold on as the only upscale department store in the area.
I have not been in this Macy’s admittedly for at least 5 years. I have to say in no way does it compare to the Macy’s Day yet Citrus Park or Westshore mall mall. The employees seem more lethargic and less caring about the customer experience. The layout and the ability to find what you’re looking for things more difficult. And then of course you always have to worry about whether or not you’re going to be mugged in the parking lot coming or going to the store.
I got to applaud them for trying to update the small and revitalize it, but they have a long way to go before they are in my business back.
What’s a girl to do? Shop for you feel safe and secure and can find what you want.

Well not a big shopper in fact I hate shopping so read this review with that in mind. I don’t buy things from the store, I don’t know why but my wife does. I don’t really know what else possibly to say it’s a department store that sells stuff its expensive, I think? please don’t take this review as a reason not to go to Macys

I have to give them a one because they had a ton of empty shelves (see my pictures). I was looking for a shower curtain and found one and it was a liner and it was on a display. The store was not clean and organized. There also wasn’t a single sales person around for me to ask questions to.

This Macy’s is the only reason to visit this mall. However, they have much less selection than the Westshore or Wiregrass Macy’s.

The store is very well stocked and clean. The boys department is a little small. The people that work there are nice and helpful.

I’m quite the Macy’s fanatic and this one is less then desirable…
For starters it’s a few years overdue for a facelift and the clothing and shoe selection is pretty meh. The dressing rooms is pretty blah. Again it really needs a facelift if they are going to keep it part of the mall.
The staff are usually pretty friendly. I went in and upon checkout the cashier was sweet and pleasant.
It’s not my first Macy’s that I choose to shop at but in a pinch it occasionally meets my needs.
